I work for a company all kitchen hood comes with panel , it has room for hood Lts , MUA, E Fan + 120 to power the panel that can also share with lights; what you do is run a extra 12/2 mc from electrical panel to hood panel, so all electrical equipment directly under hood should be wired directly from electrical panel to an wall outlet under hood, those each one should have an shunt trip breaker, so the extra 12/2 mc will be connected at the panel on parallel (one side of each shunt trip should be spliced to the black wire, and the other side of the breaker which is one of the 2 wires factory attached on breaker, should be spliced to the white wire; so in the hood panel that 12/2 mc spliced to shunt trip breakers, should be as diagram in hood panel.
