This is what happens whenever a company goes public. Stock holders want to make a fortune and force the business to do whatever it takes to make huge profits. The more money the company makes, the higher bonuses the CEO takes. If you want it to stop, put an end to the way the stock market works.

I've said this for ages. I have no idea why a public stock market even needs to exist except to create global mega corporations. By the nature of the market itself, this isn't possible.

We try to source our food locally or grow our own. Where we can't we struggle to balance the budget vs ethical purchases. Often budget wins 😢
Tonight we are having a lime curry using our home grown limes, chillies and kaffir lime leaves, chicken from a local butcher, coriander paste from a company owned by a small business in our area with ingredients produced in our state. I don't believe the curry paste or coconut cream are nestle products. I hope not but it is impossible to know as there is no indication on the packaging and I feel it is almost impossible to know all their brands. ❤ Love how sarcastic your message is. Its quite amusing if not downright scary. The ironical tone may go over some sheeple, sorry peoples heads, but theyre probably happy to comply to their madters anyway. 😂 Great video brother 💯👏👍

There are so-called B-Corporations (as in benefit) aswell. They are certified to guarantee that their business ethics is exactly the opposite of Nestle's. Ensuring that there is no exploitation and that all things are sustainable, be it gathering the resources, environmental aspects, and even social ones. The goal is that everyone along the supply chain and their local communities shall benefit, aswell as being transparant and accountable.
Considering the insane amount of harm done by reckless profit maximization, legally enforcing such behaviours would be very desirable, as the late-stage capitalism we have now destroys our planet and environment, our societies and our living standards (increasing poverty rates, cost of food and housing, wages continuously decreasing in terms of spending power).
It's not like people couldn't get rich anymore in such an environment; it would just take a bit longer. With 100% certainty I can say that it would even be worth toppling a government to enforce these changes.
