I don't know if younger people can truly appreciate what getting to hear music was like pre world wide web (in the 1980s.) Outside of speciality record stores in big cities, the radio was the only venue to hear music (other than MTV or Much Music here in Canada) and the only 'independent' or 'alternative' British music that was regularly played even on alternative radio programs (one station had a program for, I believe, one hour a week called Off the Wall) was The Smiths and The Cure. Both bands are brilliant, but there was a lot of excellent British music that did not get regular or any airplay in North America.
Brilliant to see this finally in much better quality than the previous one on here, Great Great single so love this song and video, a 19 year old Tracy so cool, myself early 20s at the time,
Totally brilliant! Perfect indie intro! I'm listening to one of my old Peel tapes and the track came up and reminded me of how good your song was 😎 managed to catch you live back in the 80s - great memories :)
I see no feeling in your eyes No love no meaning in your eyes When I'm with you l don't know why Cant think straight I don't know why And if it's all the same to you I think I'll take a walk Cuz you're too loud and you're really stupid Can't stand another second of your talk Cuz you're too loud and you're really stupid Stuff you're saying Is really stupid It's really stupid I sit here listening to your voice I'm losing myself in your voice When I'm with you l've got no choice Can't hear nothing but your voice And if it's all the same to you I think i'll stay outside Cuz you're too loud and you're really stupid I'll take a look around for a place to hide Cuz you're too loud and you're really stupid Stuff you're saying Is really stupid It's really stupid I see no feeling in your eyes No love no meaning in your eyes I see no feeling in your eyes Cuz everything you say is lies And if it's all the same to you I think I'll take a walk
Still remember you from the 80's! I hope that you all are doing well!
Keep playing and singing!
Wonderful. Travelled to Leeds' Jumbo Records from my small town just to buy this in '86 and it's still a class song.

Along with The Jesus And Mary Chain the big fuzz guitar sound of 80's indie pop. GREAT STUFF! Dog Party should cover this they'd do it justice

I see no feeling in your eyes
No love no meaning in your eyes
When I'm with you l don't know why Cant think straight I don't know why
And if it's all the same to you I think I'll take a walk
Cuz you're too loud and you're really stupid
Can't stand another second of your talk
Cuz you're too loud and you're really stupid
Stuff you're saying
Is really stupid
It's really stupid
I sit here listening to your voice I'm losing myself in your voice
When I'm with you l've got no choice
Can't hear nothing but your voice
And if it's all the same to you I think i'll stay outside
Cuz you're too loud and you're really stupid
I'll take a look around for a place to hide
Cuz you're too loud and you're really stupid
Stuff you're saying
Is really stupid
It's really stupid
I see no feeling in your eyes
No love no meaning in your eyes
I see no feeling in your eyes Cuz everything you say is lies
And if it's all the same to you I think I'll take a walk
Pretty girl!

The drummer was 10000% a fan of the ramones haha
sounds like Jesus And The Mary Chain at a slumberparty
That is my idea of a great time.
Why is only their only semi-famous song crash??? All their music is better than like, anything.
dangit! can you please fix the tracking?
i think i get it
Did The Ramones and Jesus and Mary Chain successfully sue for this?
