The most nostalgic Indiana Jones game for me, is Indiana Jones And His Desktop Adventure. I remember the first time a computer was brought into my childhood home, it was my brother's, it was a 486 I think, I could be wrong about that, running Windows 95 I know that for sure, and this was at an age for me when I did not know there was Greatest Adventures on SNES, and I almost never knew what games there were for the console unless my brother showed me new ones or got me into ones that he liked. Anyway, Desktop Adventure was really fun. I wish that I could get that game to run on Windows 10 these days.
I did eventually get Greatest Adventures, sometime between 2002 and 2005, and it's one of my favorite SNES games.

Rad Racer.... that was such a common arcade machine, I used to always get 1-3rd place in every arcade I could, every hotel, every casino... I didn't have a fun abbreviation of my name, so I'd always just replace the top score with "AAA"
If you remember that happening ~1990-1995 around upstate NY, you probably got beat by a 5-10 year old. I think there was *ONE* Howard Johnson's hotel that required like 3 dollars to replace all your top scores. Otherwise, it was a joke.

Have to agree with you on X-Men (as everyone does). I bought that piece of crap when it was released from a local store (Phar-Mor). We didn't have a place that would rent games around us, so my buddy and I would buy games, carefully open them, and then re-seal and return them if we didn't like them. I played this for about an hour and sealed that bitch back up and returned it. I tried to play it a few years ago on an emulator, thinking "There's no way it's as bad as I remember". It is.

As for the sealed games: unless you plan to resell them, I'd open them up. Collecting is fun, but ultimately they are toys, designed to be play with. I don't see a point in keeping something sealed just to sit on a shelf. Open it. Enjoy it! Weep if it's not the special 1 in 8 one!

You are so wrong about gyromite. Play with a friend controlling the pillars. He tries to kill you. Only rule is you get a pass when there is no way you can get past an area without being killed. For example red blue red pillar. He can’t kill you by trapping you in middle. Basically he can’t impede your forward movement.

10:30 - I worked on that “make your own” mega man boss contest. It was fun. I was about 7 years old, and I worked on it with my dad. We ended up sketching out a whole comic together (10 small pages) featuring the adventures of our supposed “villain”. I think we ended up making him more of a protagonist, rather than a villain. Oh, and I totally just ripped off the existing “Air Man” boss for my idea… “Fan Man”! Good times. Thanks for helping make memories, Dad. :)
