My Husband and I are taking my parents on the first cruise for all of us in February of 2025 on this ship. It will be a new experience for all 4 of us. My husband and I have traveled around the world, but never on a cruise. Any first time pointers? We're in our 40's and my parents in their early 70's. Simple prairie/midwest people. I've watched each of your Silhouette videos a few times, and I'm over the moon excited. Cruising is such a new concept to us, I want to make it memorable for all of us. It'll be a 4 day 3 night Nassau trip.
Nice! Celebrity in general is pretty laid back and doesn’t require a ton of planning. If you opted for select dining, you might want to hop in and make reservations as soon as they let you, otherwise you just join the line and wait each evening. If you have assigned time dining, then no worries there. Reservations aren’t needed for shows or anything else. Hope you have an awesome cruise!! :D
I love playing the game of trying to pick what you had for dinner. The longer i watch - the better i get. Ive watched them all starting from your river cruise. Gonna go back a few months before those and watch all those next. Y'all dont spend much time at home. Im semi jeaulous - but very grateful for the large amount of videos. My husbands an amputee. It makes traveling difficult. His continuing health issues makes it almost impossible. Im living vicariously! It's been 25 years since my last cruise. Thought i would cruise again once my son was of age - unfortunately, it didnt happen that way.
Jay, when I saw your dinner choices I thought that’s a total departure from what you usually pick and then you said Dee picked it!! 😂 So fun, I’m going to try this with my husband next vacation!
On your last sea day, when you sat outside in those chairs and the wind was blowing, looking out over the ocean, it was gorgeous! I could’ve stared at That all day ❤
Hi, just started watching ur channel. Great job on videos. You 2 travel so much like we do. We also choose inside cabins, we’re not in cabin that much for balcony to be worth all the extra $$$. We enjoy the same activities that you both do. We’ve done Celebrity on “S” class (Silhouette) and “E” class Beyond. Going on Apex next, another helpful video you did on that ship. Which class ship do you both prefer? Thanks Larry

Good morning, how do you guys do your videos, I see this is from feb 21 n today is march 11 n im anxious to see the margaritaville videos which is from west palm where i live n now there going sailings to Cozamel from Tampa will you be joining that sailing as well. We post all our travels in chronological order as to how we sailed them. MSC Divina will be up next, followed by Scarlet Lady, then Margaritaville. We do have a playlist from the first time we sailed Margaritaville though.

Oh wow, totally different beasts there. Celebrity is more upscale and MSC is more budget unless you’re going for Yacht Club. There’s not really a way to compare two drastically different price points like that!! :P
@@parodeejay I see your point. Since we have sailed with Celebrity in the past and this will be our first cruise with MSC, we will have to compare the two cruise lines for ourselves. But it sounds like you get what you pay for.
Like the vid. Question hearing this high noise when you are in the stateroom. Is that the ventilation/aircon or was it just really windy? Did you every do the eggdrop? I am wondering how and why they do that?

I couldn't find anything with park by the ports for Miami and the prices I'm finding to park at the port is like $22-25 a day which is expected, but does it get crowded, is it really in this price range? Is it a far walk? Thanks!
Awesome! We use Park By The Ports for Fort Lauderdale, but Safe Cruise Parking for Miami. They gave us a 15% off promo code, which is PDJ2024 to save some bucks!! :P
