Great video, really cool to hear your experience :) Must be a great game if it has so many layers that can be enjoyed by people with such different experiences.
I don't know if it fits the term "Comfort game" But one game I can always boot up and any time and just have myself a great satisfying game where I feel in power, nostalgic and satisfied is the original Doom. Of course, games like Super Mario 64 and Ocraina of time is always a winner but they do require more of a dedication. As a Scandinavian, like many others, I don't have many nostalgic memories for story/text heavy games as I didn't start to learn any English until my early teens and since video games never really got translated to Danish/Swedish/Norwegian, I imagine most of us didn't really started playing them until later in our lives. I suppose I did play Pokémon but I would always just spam the A button to get through dialogue. Ocarina of Time was the first big somewhat text heavy game I played when it came out and I constantly needed my mother to translate stuff for me so she pretty much experienced the whole story of that game as well xD
