I love vinyl tops! Someday when I buy a new car I’m adding one. I don’t worry about what people think, do what you want to do you’re damned no matter what.
The Big Three loves vinyl tops, because they didn't have to do the normal prepping and priming for paint. Vinyl tops were a real money maker. Thanks, suckers!
Hi, I have a 76 Lincoln Town Car, with the original 1/2 padded, vinyl coachroof. Can you please refer me to a shop that can accommodate my need for the replacement of this type of roof feature ? I live in the south, and no one seems to be doing anything other than convertible tops.
Yeah ... I restored my vinyl top back in high school on my Goat ... I have a few small cracks & can’t find a restore kit anywhere ... help anybody ?????
I agree with Marco you are just cleaning it we all know how to clean!! we were looking for a restore!!! but good way good girl good girl good way to get more likes and followers but not from me
It says right on the can it is a polymer paint sealant.... does that mean it is the same thing as a regular car wax? Why should I buy this particular paint sealant for my vinyl roof? I don't get it. Why is he saying this is to protect and restore vinyl, when can says paint sealant. Can I use various car wax on my vinyl roof then?
couldnt you plastidip the vinyl top to make it waterproof a few more yrs if it was minorly cracked? mine has dozens of what pook like pock mark cracks from a hailstorm. im trying to decide if i should just delete it entirely or plastidip it.
I can only assume that trying to salvage it after taking it off and dipping it then putting it back on might be more expensive and time consuming than just getting a new one
Hello. We bought the Sonax Multistar you are using here for my vinyl 1977 Buick roof.Looks identical to your roof here. But its not working. Did you wet the brush? How did you get the product to foam up? Did almost nothing on mine. Thank you.
MexhomieXlll you’ll have to prep the metal underneath with primer once you get the rust off because from the factory they didn’t put paint under the tops so they all rust underneath eventually
You left out “daily driver” no weekend warrior over here lol 💪 life is too short for me to go a day without driving my baby

You’re just cleaning not salvaging. I think we all know how to clean.
Yeah, thought it was going to be removal and to be able to use again.

Did you ever find a fix?
Yeah you can even tell her after he uses the product and brushes it, the mold is still under the foam. Then the next screen its gone. Scam forsure.
Ouch classic Gbody lovers wince. ..😫
So whats happens if you take it off? What do you have to do?

Who thought it was a good idea to add this horrible raspy guitar devil sound?
