A hidden gem of a song brilliantly done, was it all worth it from the miracle album is also a hidden gem.

One real forgotten gem of Queens library. Bryan explained that he wrote the song after a dream he had about a great flood while he was recovering from being ill while recording the album "Sheer Heart Attack", using the dream as his source for some of the lyrics. All according to Wikipedia.
I'm being a 13 year old boy hearing this for the very first time way back in 75 ! This is the first album I ever bought , I still have that original copy .
Queen is one of my fav bands and i always love Freddy since the 70's till now and forever ! Greatings and love from germany ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Most, if not all, of these are prophesies/events from the Bible. There is a small reference to Moses, and some of Joseph's prophecies, and others. But the greatest portion refers to Noah and his ark. He was called a mad man by the people when he was trying to get people to listen to him. At that time there had never been any rain, and water falling from the sky was beyond comprehension to them. The way Brian put this together is incredible. It's been called his BoRhap, and I can see why. Honestly I think it's far more complex than BoRhap. This is actually the first time I've heard it in it's entirety and I'm blown away.
I used to feel like this but as I've been watching Queen through the years , I've changed my mind. Freddie's voice actually got better in many ways, if that's possible!
@@Justicia007 Oh yes Freddie's vocals did get better and better as time went on. I still love the early music because it was so groundbreaking, all the intricacy, the usual sounds, and they did more types of music back then, but as I said, they were great all through the years, but I do find myself listening to early stuff more, along with the Innuendo album.😊
@@deboraclark5791 Love the fact that they have so much range in their music, just as much range as Freddie had in his voice and that's what makes them so listenable for 50 years. I go through phases. For a while I was obsessed with the early years and listened to all seventies Queen. Recently I've discovered the subtlety and voice control Freddie had later in his career and I'm obsessed with that for the moment. 😁. Best band ever and best frontman ever. ❤️
I love your raw reactions and your passion for Queen. I saw them several times ( 3 times with Freddie) You should check out some Roger Taylor solo. The song "It's An Illusion" is exactly what's going on today. Roger did great stuff with The Cross as well!
Yes! Love to see your appreciation of the lyrics. What with the beauty of the sound of Queen music and harmonies, we lose focus sometimes on the absolute genius of the lyrics of Queen's music. The intelligence and depth of the band members shows in every song. Absolutely genius!
Thanks, G&T -- it's been posited that this is Brian May's "Bo-Rap" - IDK.. but I still love it, and it is obviously intricate ... Brian was experimenting with guitar.. I can't figure out what to say.. "roundabout"" or "back and forth"... duh!
An amazing hidden gem, harmonies are sublime.ur reaction is great. Is that a mixing board/table behind u? Love reactions who appreciate true creative music. Queen were the masters .
There on another level with the talent and engineering of this masterpiece
it all started with a Brian May dream and became a song
Best Queen Song and totally unknown to the Public 😞

Brian, not Freddie.
Me being one of early Queen fans from 70s, I did not how this song by Brian was born for nearly 50 years. Big thanks.

Brian's BoRhap, so to speak. Early Queen is something very different and very special.

Freddie’s canon is spectacular!
Another great Brian May song.
I love early Queen music the most. Queen was great all through the years, but early Queen, fantastic. Great reaction

@@Justicia007 Absolutely agree 💯 also Freddie's solo work, love it.

The amazing thing is the song came to Brian May after he was in a sickness induced fever dream about Noah's ark and the flood from the Bible.
I love this song, it is very unique and it has very interesting lyrics. And the vocals are amazing as always 😁 thank you for this great reaction!
I think it was Noah, warning about building the ark. Like the rain, green , the return of the white dove. Noah’s Ark

The wise man is Noah but he became ridiculed and was seen as a madman. ❤️❤️
