Ideas for Pokemon Scarlet/Violet DLC:
The houses in each town should be filled up, or at least a few of them should be opened.
Here are some ideas for the locked houses.
Each town should have a “Trader General” that specializes in trading things. The trades could start out simple and easy and work up to harder and rarer as the items you get in return get better. The final trade should be something very rare or unique, and then the trades start over again.
-Egg Trader General- This person, the EggMan, will buy any eggs you bring at a fair but low price. If you bring eggs of a certain Pokemon that they ask for, you will get to trade for an egg that this person thinks is of equal value. You also get money or items that can be sold. He makes a big deal about not telling you what he is doing with the eggs.
Item Trader General- You give them two items they want in exchange for one item they have that is of greater value or scarcity.
-PokeBall Trader General- A way to get rare and expensive Pokeballs… but it’s gonna cost you in trades. Some of the trades require you to show him Pokemon who were captured in certain balls.
-Berry Trader General- This is a way to get rare berries, but another neat thing is that after so many trades, he gives you a key to his back garden where you can plant and harvest and cross pollinate berries of all kinds to get new ones and even to sometimes attract rare Pokemon depending on the berry, including a chance to lure in a rare Combee male carrying the ultra rare new item (Hive Armor) that would allow it to transform into the new and very tanky VespiKING! Vespiking has the ability Honey Sheen which makes fire attacks only do 2X damage to this bug/steel Pokemon, instead of 4X.
-Pokemon Trader General- This person is looking for specific Pokemon to trade for other specific Pokemon. As the trades progress upwards, the Pokemon you can get will be more rare and/or have hidden abilities and egg moves and tera forms.
-Cold Storage- This person and their ice Pokemon will take sandwich ingredients from you and store them in their refrigerators and freezers until you want them. Often, they like to be creative and come up with new dishes for you to try out.
-Pokemon Rancher- They have inherited an old rundown ranch that they don’t want. It is overrun with wild Pokemon. If you bring them certain amounts of certain types of Pokemon that you capture in their ranch, they will give you various rewards. At some point, when you have captured all the Pokemon in the ranch, they will offer to sell the ranch to you. You can rename it, and you can release Pokemon that you have caught into the ranch. It will hold up to 100 Pokemon, but they will no longer be tamed. You will have to recapture them to either keep in your boxes or release to the wild. These Pokemon in the ranch that you put there will keep any training or items, special moves and abilities, even shininess.
-Puzzle Master General- Each town has its own PMG who designs a house that has a puzzle that needs to be completed to make it through and win a prize. The Puzzle Masters do it as a hobby for prestige for them and their town.
-The Big J Family- A member of this family has a house in each town. You have to battle them in a certain order. When you win, you get a pass to show the next one in the line. You get money and experience and items as prizes. Each family member is named Big J(something), like Big Jim, Big Jane, Big Jo-Jo, etc. Of course, the fights get harder and harder, and when you finish with the last one, they send you back to the beginning where the first member has gotten stronger. This can go through several cycles.
-PokeWalker- This person is supposed to be walking Pokemon for people, but has conveniently “twisted their ankle”. If you take the Pokemon for a walk of at least 1000 overworld steps, they will reward you, but you have to do it somewhere else than in this town because they don’t want to get caught goofing off.
-PokeAdopt- Abandoned or abused Pokemon are left here. For a fee or for certain medicines, you can adopt a Pokemon for yourself. Sometimes these Mon know interesting moves!
-Trainer Reset- You are rewarded this special app that will reset all the trainers in the land to battle again.
-Battle Houses- These houses contain double and triple battles.
-PokeFossil House- The scientists in this house want an adventurer to help them gather all the fossils around Paldea, and to aid you in your search, they have provided you an app that will sound when a fossil is nearby. You’ve been walking right past them the whole game! Eventually you can find fossils from all the other regions and some brand new ones too! Your ride Pokemon will dig them out for you. Just bring the fossils back to the scientists, and they will fix you right up.
Underground Battle Train!- Travel from one side of Paldea to the other on the Battle Train!
Battle Yacht!- You can earn the right to take a cruise on this Rich Trainer’s boat. Battle and trade with other passengers and enjoy the rare sandwich ingredients.
Unova Theme Park- Rides and Pokemon from the region help you get a taste of the area. You can even battle performers and trainers who have traveled from there with their exotic Pokemon.
-If your Pokemon egg hatches close enough to a sparkling item, there is a greater chance your new Pokemon will be hatched holding an item. If your Pokemon hatches in a certain environment or under certain weather conditions or time of day, there is a chance they may know a special move that they otherwise would not or could not know.
-Bring back Secret Bases!
-Multiple release option in boxes.
-Shinies make a noise in the overworld.
-Overworld flying on your ride Pokemon once you have finished the game and the dex and your finals.
Obviously new Pokemon, forms, evolutions, etc.
There are many more cool ideas for DLC that could really shoot this terrific game up to another level.

There's still some fossilmons that were likely still rock type. Mega Aerodactyl which is said to be pure/close to pure Aerodactyl still has a rock typing and Ramparados still has a rock typing, meaning it couldve been dual typed when it was alive. Personally I think Primal Aerodactyl would be Rock dragon because of its inclusion on Lance's team suggesting a relation to dragons.
Honestly I would think aerodactyl would go legends of arceus. Stantler... ursaring.
I think it's the same case for kabuto, kabutops, anorith, and armaldo are also the same case because creatures of the cambrian period had primitive eyes made of crystal

Would be crazy if these DLC are actually even more in depth than we think. Game Freak has been making a point to really push the envelope and break the cycle. What if these DLC are huge? I'm talking revisiting a good portion of Kalos. Or Area Zero opening up to what could be a Hollow Earth? Honestly ever since they dropped Legends, I've assumed that anything is on the table now.
I hope the dlc pass will show paradox eeveelutions a dragon type for the past and a steel type for the future
One thing I feel like is very important is that in Aerodactyl's Pokedex info his mega evolution is stated to just be what he looked like back in prehistoric times. The argument for paradox Pokemon being this big and strong due to not only natural evolution but also mega evolution makes a lot of sense when you look at his Pokedex info.
Personally i’d love a fusion of the Hitmon trio from the past, perhaps it is the ancestor of the 3 Hitmon’s and through time the fighting styles the original Pokemon knew were split up into the Pokemon we know today. Or i’d be happy with a fusion of the 3 kanto birds since that was in the manga.
I want paradox kabutops which starts showing scyther features! I love kabutops and really want to expand on its biology and 'lore'! It would also be a fun way for TPC to potentially acknowledge some fan theories!
And then maybe as a future counterpart a kabutops-genesect fusion!

Paradox Prehistoric Pokemon should be in the DLC because we never got to experience them in Pokemon S/V.
I'd rather they do a center of the earth sort of thing and have fossil pokemon in their true forms plus it could add fossils in as they are still missing in s/v plus I would think they could add in the galar true fossils aswell just my thoughts.

Maybe, this third legendary is not only related to paradox pokemon, but also, the terastal fenomenon. Maybe it could have used something similar to terá crystal to create those paradox pokemon! Also, Aerodactyl as confarmed to be originaly Rock/Flying, so it's paradox form probably only would change the designing and stats though.

But since there wasn't, I'm putting my ideas for if it did have Paradox forms!
Iron Emperor (Water/Electric): The future Empoleon. It acts as a Robotic Overlord over others of it's kind. It shows no mercy to its foes as it electrocutes them with the taser-like claws underneath its wings. The one with the most energy and strength is the leader of its group.
Primal Trident (Rock/Flying): The past Empoleon. Said to be the ancestor of the Pokémon Empoleon, the crown on its head is made of a hardened rock, which makes the crown almost unbreakable. It is said that these Pokémon were too aggressive to be tamed and could cause massive hurricanes if gathered in groups, hence the reason they separate from the flock. Over time as they evolved though, their power had become less stronger than they were before.
I agree that the fossil Pokémon should definitely get ancient paradox forms, it would be great to see them roaming in their original forms in the past. It would be great to take them from a simple gimmick to incorporating them properly into the wild Pokémon world.

I love the idea of Past Paradox Pikachu/Raichu based off of the Beta Gorochu, though I personally like the idea of it being Electric/Fire rather than Electric/Fighting. I'd call it something like Searing Thunder and give it a new Electric-Type move that could leave the target with a Burn, which is something we have never had before, which honestly surprises me since Electrical burns are a thing and are incredibly painful. I mean, scars left by lightning strikes are some of the most brutal scars a person can have.
I'd also love a Past Paradox of Venomoth, Bug/Dark, based on the Mothman. I know it's highly unlikely and the complete wrong region for such a thing, but it would be so cool to see my favorite cryptid brought to life in Pokemon!

What if we got sent to the past in area zero, every pokemon is a paradox in there and the whole landscape is changed. But it wasn't something that made logical sense but sense to the 3rd legendary, an Imaginary area zero. I would love to see many more paradoxes

I like the idea of Iron Jet, but I don't think any of the exclusives would get a paradox in the same game. Since Dragapult is exclusive to Violet, scarlet would get a paradox (if one is made) like Hydreigon and Tyranitar to Iron Jugulis and Iron Thorns, or Salamance and Misdreavus to Roaring Moon and Flutter Mane.

See the thing I don’t think people have thought about too heavily is natural selection, as well as evolution.
Under terms of evolutionary chains, some of the Pokémon that are SIMILAR or maybe even minorly different could be ancestors. This would mean their ancient form isn’t any different between those Pokémon.
In terms of natural selection, some Pokémon that are in present day could go extinct from natural selection, or even human pollution (if it’s even present in the series). Due to this, there would be little to no available Pokémon in the near future, with only those with genetic advantages being priority.
I believe the Future forms are just attempts for humans to replicate and enhance the potential of Pokémon, but my belief is that they were highly terrestrial (like the two koraidon), leading to an extinction of ALL REGULAR pokemon.

Legends of Arceus covered a lot of the lore but essentially the Arceus that we get is only one fragment of the extension because they realistically couldn't put the real God in the game because it's stats would just be infinite

Going to the past or future is entirely uninteresting if we don't go to the main settlement. area zero is cool but there is no way it is interesting enough to warrant the time travel unless it is inhabited.
I would hope that in the past we get Atlantis with the future paradoxes and in the future, we get post-apocalypse zero with the past paradoxes. whether that is just letting us catch the opposite or we get an entire series of new exclusives. robots in scarlet and monsters in violet. this approach might render zero interesting enough that we won't need a settlement.

I feel like the paradox pokemon aren't even past/future, its all imagination making another "wish" pokemon that makes dreams come true or something like that because at least for scarlet, why isn't there any fossil pokemon at all? You think there would be considering "past." And even then that's not how evolution works, all the fossil pokemon are arthropods, plants and dinosaur looking pokemon. Great tusk would be an elephant which never existed alongside dinosaurs considering only small mammals existed back then.

There are no more legends games for the switch, there are no lets go games coming, and there is no remakes of kalos.
Bro thinks GF will actually put effort into the DLC... I don't know if i should admire this optimism or not.
