I want to point out that in VuhDo Options (version 3.167 right now), the *Indicators* shown in the video at 11:07 mins *have moved* to the Panels tab.
Otherwise, this was a great refresh to Vuhdo for me as I am trying out MW Monk for the 1st time in MoP Remix and really loving it. Been watching your other videos to really get a hang of MW Healing (and Monk in general).
Appreciate you taking the time to share this! Would love to hear your thoughts on the advantages of Vudoo vs the new UI we’re about to receive.

I set up an indicator for Chi Harmony. First I went to Bouquets and created a new one and named it Chi Harmony. Then I wrote Chi Harmony in the Buff section and Added it. Then went back to Indicators and for the Inner indicator, you select the Chi Harmony bouquet. Now every time someone has it they will light up with a white border to signify the Healing Boost. You could also set it the same way you did for Enveloping Breath if you prefer the icon.

Helpful video! One issue I have is that I use Vuhdo for multiple specs in one class. For example, I use a layout for Holy Paladin, and I have a separate one for Protection (to cast things like BoP, Sac, Lay on Hands, etc). I know there are different layout options available for different specs, but I can never seem to save/load them properly, as any changes I make to the Protection binds are over-written by the ones I set up for Holy. How do you properly save one layout and then begin a completely separate layout for a different spec of the same class? (I do this for Holy/Disc, Resto/Balance, Resto/Elemental). These changes are especially helpful for dispelling for non-healing classes since they have different names for healers than other specs of the same class (i.e. Cleanse Toxins vs. Cleanse)

I noticed in one of your older videos where you talked about healing different damage profiles, you knew which party members were being targeted by abilities the moment they were being cast, is this something that can be tracked with Vuhdo as well? or was that a name plate function?
@@jensv.3961 Thanks for this, I'll check it out :) The description says it shows basically everything so I'll have to give it a test to see if it's overload/too cluttered, but the icons are definitely great!
I use plater for that but yes there are also weakauras that make it pop up on the frame. I tend to find it easier to see the cast that needs stopped on plater because I’m already looking there and don’t have to try to find the mob doing the cast
@@Megasett Thank you! Yeah true, it'll definitely help with choosing my kicks better too. I'll find that function in plater then and have both up to see which I like. My only fear with plater is my brain won't be able to put the name to the player fast enough (I pug most of my keys), so eventually it'll just seem like more clutter for me to handle.
There’s definitely an adjustment period but that’s also why I have my frames pretty central as well as sorting it tank>healer>mdps> rdps, also helps with knowing at least if you need to 1. Stop the cast, or 2. If the cast isn’t stoppable, heal/cocoon that person before the cast finishes
I have set VuhDo to sort by class and it shows correctly in the example groups. But when I'm in a real instance it doesn't sort. Any ideas?
This is pretty concise and perfect for a newbie healer like me. Thank you! But quick question, Is there a way for me to change the clickovers depending on my spec or class...?
Spells are not saved to profiles so you can have the same profile for diff specs/classes, you just need to configure the spells once

Great video. Thanks. Question. I go into Spells>Mouse and set up Shift Modifier key. Dropping a macro for Nature Swiftness + Holy Wave to cast with Shift+5 key on Naga mouse but doesn’t work? Only works with left/right mouse buttons ??

Are you using Vuhdo for the party frames since mouseover/clickcasting has been integrated into the base game options?
Vuhdo for frames and just the click casting through Vuhdo for left, right ,and middle click. Mouseover macros for everything else

So I use a bouquet of all defensive CD and this is applied like a HOT icon in the bar but it will only show one CD even though they have multiple on them. Is there a way we can line up all of them so I know what's ono the target? Thanks.

I wanted to use Vuhdo so many times but it just lacks simple functions like having your hots simply at the bottom from right to left.
Is it possible to make the hot icons "collapse" like the old healbot did 10 years ago so if you have 1 hot its always say bottom left corner as you cast more hots they extend and as they fall off they collapse down so icons arent scattered?
How.do you remove challengers burden? I put it in debuff list on custom but I can't ignore it

Its bringing up both the Vuhdo frames and stck party frames.
The raid frames work just fine.
Im so confused i have my "raid profile" activate due to group size 10/15/20/25/30 but when im in a group of 2 people it's using my raid frames instead of my 5 man profile i want.
Might be the wrong video to comment on, but how would you suggest leveling during the new xpac. Would you level as a MW, or use WW to dps your way through open world content then switch at cap? Weird question, sorry.
Prob better to level as tank or dps unless you have someone with you

I main mw and can’t figure out how to get the enveloping breath icon to pop up for spell trace. I did it exactly how you did but it leaves just a box in the middle
iirc in 10.1 they made EnvB show up on default frames (it didn't before) but my spell trace is still working. Try getting rid of the spell trace and seeing if that works
As a Holy Paladin using this addon in WoTLK Classic, I am trying to track the Sacred Shield the same way the beacon of Light shows in the raid frame. How can I do that?
In the Character's Panel, in the upper left corner, I have a badge for Healers (+), Tanks (shield).... I cannot find the setting in Vuhdo that shows this. Its available for my Priest, but my resto druid its not. Where is this setting?

You can just leave them blank and unbound if you'd like!
i have a p[roblem when I click on a name it wont target them , once i do a healing spell it doenst add to them but me
You can put “target” in the spell portion if you want to target based off of clicks. If you don’t want to click you can do mouseover macros

Sorry I'm not sure what you mean with group panel and raid panel being different locations. Do you want your group within the raid to be separate?
@@Megasett yes! :). I put the group panel and raid panel in a different position.
@Janssen Reyes I know this is old but you basically make 2 different profiles and make it so it so the group profile gets used at 1-5 and the rading one at 10-40 by clicking the boxes.

as a evoker healer Vuhdo doesn't show me some debuffs which is really really annoying like most bleeds like the Rending Strike (i can remove it) bleed from last boss of Nokhud and some other things. I played around with this addon a lot and still couldn't figure out on how to add some debuffs customly. note that I don't want to see every single debuff there is. could you help?
It should be showing those by default, but if you need to add them manually it is Debuffs
@@Megasett ty for the reply. for some reason it won't show and if I just put the name then the Icon won't show, I figured that every spell has an ID, so if u just put the ID of the spell there it automatically adds the icon as well.
Hi there! I am looking for help with a setting I cant find on Vuhdo. I want to be able to click on a person's health bar to select them for when I use my keybindings to heal. I don't actually want to use Vuhdo's special hover-over system. With default settings it wont let me select a player by clicking on their panel. How can I change that?
Under panels and spells change your click “spell” just to be “Target”

theres a bar toward teh top of the health frame, its brownish grey it comes up whenver I put Rejuv on the target, is there a way from eliminating this
Try going to:
Panels < HoT Bars and for HoT Order, make Slot 1, 2, and 3 to -empty-
How to set the frame with tank to the top in a group of 5 people?
Under the Panels tab there is a "Sort By" option and a dropdown, change the dropdown to Tank => Healer => DD

Is there a way to make the hots to start from one spot and expand, similar to the way they work on the default UI?
You can have all of the slots assigned for your hots next to each other expanding from slot 1 which is the far left of the frame, but I don't believe they can move dynamically like they do for default. They'll always be in their assigned slot
@@Megasett That's what I thought. I am so used to the default frames and I know they are limited. That's why I was hoping I could setup Vuhdo to function in a similar way.

Yes! You can add a new Panel and select "Special" as the Panel Type. Then you should be able to select "NPCs" as the Value which should give you a Boss Frame.

So this is an odd problem i've just started having in DF, wonder if anyone else had this/fixed it. When I assign heals to Alt+mouse buttons, it doesnt work on the vuhdo frames and only heals me. Its odd because Alt+Mousewheel up/down work properly as a mouseover, and other keys like Ctrl+mouse button works. Its strange because I used Vuhdo in WoW a year ago just fine with Alt+mouseover working fine, came back and it doesn't. Not sure what im missing. Welcome any ideas as to why/a fix. Thankyou, love the video, refreshed my memory on a few things.
Do you have auto self-cast turned on in the Blizzard settings?

Should be under Move! and then delete the Panel #2 group that would be containing either Class or Special as the type

Sorry about the late response on this, so I use two profiles - Key and Raid.
Keys: Tools < Activate due to group size < 5. This means that it will use this profile up to 5 people.
Raid: Tools < Activate due to group size < 20. This means that it will swap to this profile when there's 6 people, up to 20 people.
