    След своята модернизация, теснопътен локомотив 77 002 беше транспортиран от завода на “Експрес Сервиз” в Русе до депо “Септември” на специален вагон “лодка”, теглен от локомотив 55 212, собственост на завода (24.03.2022)
    На следващия ден машината беше успешно разтоварена от служителите на “Експрес Сервиз” и депото на теснопътната товарна рампа в гара Септември.
    Надяваме се скоро машината да потегли със своя първи влак в Родопите.

    After being overhauled, narrow gauge locomotive 77 002 was transported from “Express Service” Ruse to Septemvri depot. It was put on a special car and led by locomotive 55 212 (owned by “Express Service”) (24.03.2022).
    On the next day the special cargo was successfully unloaded on the ramp by Express Service and the depot’s crew.
    Hopefully it will lead its first mountain train soon.

    Prekrasna nova lokomotiva za uskotračnu prugu. Nisam znao da imate uskotračnu željeznicu. Čestitam na čuvanju uskotračne željezničke baštine.
    Mi u Hrvatskoj smo sve uništili što je bilo uskotračno...naši komandosi su bez premca za uništiti sve što vrijedi.

    I love how they painted signs DO NOT MOVE on those old passanger cars they conveniently left in front of the unloading ramp, even though they know it's going to be used this year. BDZ at its finest.

    Excellent video. Thank you. Nice to see the old Class 87s at 1:55 as well. Good to see them still being put to good use. Great locomotives.
    77 002 looks like new. A very smart loco ready for many more years of service, I think. Lovely work by everybody involved.

      Because it is 99% new. They actually did a restomod - rebuilt old model with new technologies. The scrap is the car is same loco. 77 002 is basically 99% new loco. they only used the old frame and the bogies from the old loco. The body is brand new, new engine, everything new... The just return the scrap metal, body, parts and engine to the owner.

      @@martinBG Wow. It's a great job, was there a reason they didn't make a new design of body on top? Did they think the old design looked nice?

      @@Korschtal probably something to do with licensing, design rights etc. I'm not sure but there is a reason not to do so. That's why the brake system is the old one, not a new using discs. Because it is technically licensed with it. They wil need to test and register it as a new model if they make many changes. It would be veery expensive.

    Nicely modernised locomotive, it's good to see the Septemvri-Dobrinishte narrow gauge line still survives.
    The hearth and mountain logo in the cooler grille is a nice touch.
    What's with the scrap locomotive on the wagon, is it for parts or is it going to be another running locomotive? (although the body is cut in 2 halves?)

They actually did a restomod - rebuilt old model with new technologies and only used the old frame and the bogies from the old loco. The body is brand new, new engine, everything new... The just return the scrap metal, body, parts and engine to the owner.

    It looks brilliant after the repair works, but I think, Romanian locos are still not as awesome as original Henschel 75 Class machines... German locos always looked better and were more reliable for all times, not ?

    I take this video was shot in Romania,but I forgot the European Railway,reporting marks! Is that the BDZ,??? And is this a meter Guage line??       That's right, nothing wrong with that :)

The body is brand new, new engine, everything new... The new engine is new american Cat c32 stage 5. The scrap is the same loco. By contract they returned the scrap metal, body, parts and engine to the owner.
