I just spoke with a operator at Vulcan this morning. He mentioned most operator's there are very respectful and nice people. Very True. Thank you loader operator for taking the time to say hello. Talk about a awesomely aware & confidant operator! Vulcan Operator's Are Among The Most Skilful & Best Operator's in The World.. "Big Ups" To All Of You... 😁👍
Not unusual for some operators to get pissed, but mostly because trucks don’t line up in the proper spot usually. Many operators handle many different piles of aggregate and have to race in between each, so speed is of the essence and even a few seconds, believe it or not can make a difference. I used to haul and load out of pits and during construction season you go hell bent for leather.
I've been pulling a frameless dump over the road for a very long time. There are some awesome loader operators, and there are some complete man babies! Vulcan is a huge nation wide company usually have very good operators. Always over the top ridiculous MSHA rules. Cool seeing Socal quarry. Thanks.
Thank you for video 😊 Love it when dump truck operator tell the story behind and about pit. The only thing I will say and don't take this the wrong eay. Been in pits with mean loader operator 😢 when I back into position for Pit loader I keep out of there way ( loader ALWAYS has ROW) in pits. I they and get my dump to a half side to were the loader is going to Dump. The problem in pits is anytime the loader had to STOP with bucket high, and then you back into place, the loader operator hate that stop time. They want you to read there MINDS. Believe me I have horrible story's of rude just mean operator who are just pissed. Even though when you think about there JOBS. They are not layed off, or off work because job is closed down. They have a steady full time job. Keep video your drive time, and telling fun facts about work or pit sites. The last dump I drove was a 10 yard ( United Rental) Strange auto shift on right side of steering wheel. It was a International.
Than you for a very detailed account of your experiences in the Gravel pits. Loved reading it. Please keep the comments coming. I'm editing my next video now. Hope to download very shortly. 😁
I used to be a loader operator in a quarry/mine/plant, and you did NOTHING that I could see that was wrong. Could have parked a little closer to where he picked up his bucket full maybe. Have had days where I didn't even get a chance to pee for a couple hours, and was half an hour behind, but nothing to get mad about.
I go to a lot of different pit/quarry in Michigan and they have posted signs about not using recording devices even though my truck has a dashcam, nobody ever said anything. People would be amazed how big and deep they can be but are easily hidden by berms around the boundary.
@@supersalty2182that loader operator dose not look too happy about that lol he does not like when he’s waiting for the dump truck to loaded up lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Loved the video man! I’m 20 yrs old and work as a driver for a paper shredding company based in OC but I have a couple routes down in the Chula Vista, National City, San Ysidro area so this was cool for me to see what some of the other trucks get up to down here!🤣 Not so sure what the loader guy was upset about, other than filming I guess🤷🏼♂️ Either way, good video and keep on trucking lol👍🏼
I'm a retired CDL and forklift operator. Everybody gets pissed once in a while. Some people can be a little dangerous when they're behind the wheel, though. And a loader can cause a lot of damage!

Yes, he was very good operator. He just didn't want to be vidoed.

I didn't notice any signs stating no video but maybe there was. I will look tomorrow. Could be why he didn't want me doing a video. 🤔
That's a very good point.

If he was "Pissed" the load would be on your cab!
Pissed and lunatic are two entirely different things. 😆

Is "OC" Orange County?
@@supersalty2182 Yes, we are in the Irvine area!

Wow, Pretty big operation there....Yo! thumbs Up is Highlighted but 0 listed...
Thanks weldrider. Like that you comment on the videos.
I'd be pissed off too if I worked at Vulcan 🙂
Good one! 👈😆
lol don’t piss off the scoop
Yes, he definitely didn't want to be videoed. Who knew. 🤔💁
Only mildly irritated. If "pissed off"...that small load he put on would have turned the inside of your cab into a trampoline.
WTF? Just another day in the life of a dump truck operator. Get used to it!
I'm ok with it... Operator is probably a good person. Just didn't want to be videoed. He definitely was good at his job.😉👍
