Nice job on the video. You encouraged me to move from our plans to purchase a BX14 to a BX18 for our shop! We have millions of board feet available after hurricane MIchael! Great Job!

Great Tutorial! I just purchased my 5th Laguna Tool for my Workshop, the DB|12/6 Disc/Belt sander!

Hi there! Very helpful video. At 6:58 you put the "one very straight edge" against the fence. What if your log is uneven on both sides? How would you align it then? Thanks!

Hello, I'm a wood working beginner and wondering what the purpose for allowing wood to dry is. What happens if you use the wood with a high moisture content? Thanks, great video.

Hi Jb, thanks for the feedback. The advantage of allowing wood to dry before using it is that the wood will shrink quite a bit while it is drying, and can also tend to cup, twist, etc. By stacking it and weighting it as shown in the video it will dry straight. Once it is dry it will be much more stable, and less likely to distort or crack.

Thanks for the video!! Very helpful!! i"m glad to see your not a sawstop snob!! I see you have a delta unisaw.. thats a great saw.. I have one of the white ones that was custom made for me.. a sawstop does not come close to the build quality..
