That’s a beautiful rifle. I already own a M4 Profile Rifle Kit. That’s my next Del Ton Build. The 20 inch Government Profile Model on a Anderson Manufacturing Receiver. I’m glad you ran a classic magazine and not a Magpul either.
I'm about to buy a Del-Ton. I like the classic style with carry handle the fixed stock. I live in Jersey so we have to pin our adjustable stocks rendering them in adjustable...because that'll stop gun crime of course. SMH.
Oh yea, criminals will not use a pinned stock if it’s illegal, they of course would not voluntarily break the law, lol sarc.. geez! These stupid gun laws, they (the gov) don’t want us defending ourselves. Period.. Any how, yes sir, get the 20”, or is an awesome rifle. Like I mentioned in the video, Del-Ton has specials from time-to-time and you can save big money. If ya get one, let’s us know how you like it, thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
The only thing go wrong with mine was after around 650 rounds the flash hider came loose and I had to buy a new crush washer …other then that pretty good kit
Thanks for the reply! I haven't heard of that happening, sounds like a slip up at PSA, early Monday or a late afternoon Friday. But, very minor for the quality that you receive IMHO.
Got the same upper, just the upper, from a local shop. Just saw it on the shelf, had to have it. Love how it seems perfectly gassed. Upper carry handle from PSA since Del-ton won't ship anything to Washington (maybe if I called them for just a carry handle?). $385 for the kit? hell I paid $399 for the upper. Don't feel bad about it, though. Still piecing together a dedicated lower to get that A4 look. Just missing spacer-n-screw for the stock... cuz apparently a lot of retro stocks don't come with those.
411, thanks for the reply and it’s awesome your building the 20”, it’s the way it was meant to be. Check Brownells for the A2 retro furniture, they usually have them in stock and with the spacer.
@@n721sw Not sure Brownells would consider shipping anything parts-wise to Washington, so many outfits are paranoid running afoul of some interpretation of our new laws (PSA's restriction list is an apt example). I ended up finding the stock and then the spacer on Amazon. It'll all be together Sunday Barrel length is a kinda fun topic for me. I kinda get the whole 14.5" M4. Built one myself just so I can have something on those days my back is acting up. I gotta imagine going in buildings and clearing them with a full length M16 would be clunky by comparison. But with all my rifles the longer barrels make a trip in the hills more enjoyable as I'm concussion sensitive. I'll grab my SKS over my VZ-58 majority of the time.
OK, I see the kit includes everything but a lower receiver, right? Surprised that the barrel is 1/9 twist instead of 1/7. I just purchased an FN-FN-15 upper and find it delivers match grade accuracy from Mk262 ammunition but very poor results from Federal 55 grain .223. At any rate, I now have replaced the detachable carry handle with a MaTech BUIS and when savings permit I am going to finish out the Rifle with an ACOG TA31RCO-A2. How will you finish out your rifle, or is it to your liking now?
Charles, thanks for the comment sir. The only thing that I want to change with this build, is to upgrade the scope to more power and see what the barrel can really do. I like the ACOG, I have always wanted one. I will likely get a Eotech for my suppressed 300 blackout build. Checj that video out of you haven't seen it yet. Man, they are so many options out there, I would like to get into some night vision stuff also.
I will do a video on that when it warms up a bit, I want to know how it does as well, the carry handle picked up used surplus and a gun store in Knoxville. I believe that the handles were from the military originally. One of my handles has a Cardinal forge mark and another one has a square mark.
I’ve been impressed by my Del-ton uppers (see my channel!). I built an A4 similar to yours, but with an Anderson lower, and I also have their 16” midlength pencil barrel carbine upper, which is great. I’m no pro (I was Air Force!), but these rifles with iron sights will easily go out to 250 yards for me.
@@n721sw I also really like that gray A2 buttstock. You see those on the “real” milspec Colts. Seems like Del-Ton is out of those at the moment. I think mine is UTG-works fine, but more of a slick, black.
I wish I could, they have been of great quality. Best I can do, I bought them in Johnson City Tennessee July 2022 at Old Navy. Thanks for watching brotherman !
It would say in the papers for the lower, I like the markings on yours. I've been sampling PSA myself, my PA-10 308 was under 570! It's the best deal on a 308 IMO. And I just had to connect an upper and lower together! I've seen a build kit that was 20 less...but you had to build the lower out...and mine was proof fired I believe. She still runs amazing after 600 rounds or so.
I love my del-ton ar
Me too!

Thank you good sir, I also love the Anderson lowers, they make the 2nd affordable for all of us and also great mil-spec quality
exactly whay I did...basically a retro M16A4 on an Anderson receiver. boom.
3:40 I got the same exact psa lower for my dti upper 🤣 (when north meets south carolina 🤘)
It took a while, but the 'oval' hand guards are an improvement and I like them !👍
I concur! Love the oval!
Love a 20 inch. Nice build

Very nice and a straight shooter too.
Their a slick rifle, I just reviewed this same kit on my channel and it performs great. Such a soft shooting gun. Thanks for sharing.

Nice build , I'm envious of your A2 butt stock; I want one !
I recently purchased a Del-ton Echo 316H R0 .
Hey thank you! I love the retro stuff. That 316H is a sharp looking rifle!
Good video thanks for the info!!
Thank you!
Great video, i’m interested in this rifle but also the rak 47 tmp, it’s hard to make my mind up
That Riley looks great also, I love their front Handguards/Rail system. That could be a difficult choose!

@411DL oh, Washington, yikes! Sorry man. Good luck with sourcing your parts, thank you for watching and the reply. Hope your build turns out great

Did the carry handle come with it?
Howdy Anthony, no, the carry handle was purchased separately.
Thanks my friend 👍
What gen lower is that?
I'm not sure, how do I determine the generation?
