People are high on Clinggan when Edey is FASTER, LONGER and much skilled offensively, I just don't get it. More of profiling him for his size than actually analyzing his game.

Clingan and edey have the same standing reach which is basically usable height in the nba. Along with that clingan has shown a better defensive iq as well as being a better post player offensively in general.
@@Bkhouma the defensive part may partially be true since Edey was not allowed to have more than 2 fouls in every game since he was a focal point for his teams offense. But your argument in the offensive side is invalid as per Edeys numbers and FG%, I dont even know what your basis of it unless your trolling.
Keep in mind that he gave the blazers an A+ for drafting donovan clingan while giving the grizzlies an F for edey because he's supposedly so slow footed (Edey had better agility testings than clingan and sarr)

Nets just traded back for their own first rounders in 2025 and 2026. They’re looking to future drafts, while tanking hard this year.
We still could have done something small like get a late first or even a second or two. Just something for Nets fans to look forward to next year, rookie wise. There was some firsts going for cheap, even a small trade like Schroeder could have gotten you something.

Worst case scenario for the Lakers is that Bronny becomes their Thanasis. I never hear anybody say "oh, if it wasn't for Thanasis, Milwaukee would be the NBA champions right now." And I think it'd be the same with Bronny. But the best case scenario is that he's got a good chunk of his dad's talent just waiting to be unlocked and some stuff of his own to show us. I hope he surprises everybody in the next few years.
The Lakers used one of the last picks in the draft on someone who probably will not work out. That's par for the course to be honest. If Bronny isn't anything, it doesn't hurt the Lakers at all since most picks that late end up being nothing. This only would have been some massive issue if they used the first on him, but they got a player who is way better than his draft number and only fell due to being an old rookie, which works out well enough for a team trying to win now. Don't get me wrong, the Lakers have plenty of things to prove and overcome, but Bronny is not really relevant unless he ends up being a surprise.

This video is stupid, for one Memphis doesn’t need Edey to score, they need him to do all the things JJJ doesn’t want to do which is what he’ll do, and as far as the Nets go, this draft isn’t great for rebuilding teams, they got assets for the next two which are going to be far better

I think especially on a team that’s already low key stacked like Memphis, it’s a pretty good pick. They’re going to be a completely different team next year than what we saw last season when everyone but Desmond Bane was injured lol

Christmas came early for J.J Reddick and the Lakers. Dalton Knecht is gonna help the Lakers a ton. I cannot believe he dropped to 17th. The biggest loser is the NBA fanbase. I know that this was a terrible draft class, but the fact that the draft coverage was dominated by a kid who, arguably, isn’t even a college basketball-caliber player, is disgusting.
I know that nepotism exists in the NBA, but this may be the first time where the beneficiary wasn’t even remotely deserving of the chance, but was handed the opportunity to push an agenda.

I would call the winners: Lakers with Knecht, Blazers with Clingan, T-wolves with 8th pick trade. CHI and OKC have promising talents. Buzelis and Topic may translate to stars, or... may become busts. I think SAS are losers, bc they needed as much young talent matching Wemby's timeline as they could get, Keeping Dillingham, or getting Topic would be better. On the contrary I'm not sure about DET stockpiling raw talents without clear direction. I also wander about Sheppard's fit on Houston.

Did you even watch the video? This was recorded before the 2nd round was even drafted. Lakers picked Dalton Knecht at 19 who is a steal. Some mocks had him to go 6th. Bronny got drafted in the second round as the 55th pick.
If your saying that the Lakers drafting Bronny at #55 is bad then what more can you say about the Bucks drafting AJ Johnson at #23 in the 1st round averaging 2.9 PPG, 0.7 AST and 1.3 RPG? If you say they drafted Bronny to please Lebron, well that's not new in the NBA. Nepotism is rampant in the NBA not only with players but with coaching and staff. One good example is the Bucks pleasing Giannis and having Thanasis on the roster.
