You definitely need a bigger home 😊😊 Despite the amount of equipment you have you have it all well organised so from the video it doesn't seem intrusive. Such a typical kiddo wanting to watch TV. ❤
I loved this video. Avery does have a lot of equipment and I agree you do need a larger home. It would be nice if it were all on one floor.. You have done a fantastic job of keeping everything organized and where you can get to it as needed. Your organizational skills are very good. Avery has one fantastic Mummy. I love all your videos and look forwsrd to each and every one of the. Have a blest day.
I totally agree with you with Avery bed you have done a fantastic job Avery is such s happy little girl she such a beautiful little girl too you must be so blessed with her and all you children her bed must be comfortable if she sleep well in it bless her it look comfortable and Cosy We are so lucky In the UK thank you love this xxx
Avery is definitely finding her voice. We've all been there when you're trying to have a conversation and your toddler is progressively getting louder. Then you raise your voice continuing on etc.. Avery has discovered the game of I HAVE A LOT TO SAY AT THE SAME TIME MUMMY! That and she's working on her own comedy skills thanks to Mr.Beans influence 😊😂😄
I couldn't remember the expander, so I went back to look, the idea is really good, but the equipment is bulky, I know you explained then how important it is to get the hips in place, and I don't know why the people who make these contraptions cant make them fit in ordinary homes a lot easier. Getting Avery upright seems to be of the upmost importance, as I imagine it would help with the reflux as well as the posture, and when she has a cold, it isn't possible to cough when laying down as we know, this seems to be an area the manufacturers could improve on. I do admit to being a little squeamish about the suction machine, but I carried on bravely, you did warn us, you are an expert in the field that you have been put into, I admire you so much, the energy that you put into everything you do is amazing xx
Thank you so much that means a lot ❤️ I feel like I’ve learned so much about Avery in particular over the last couple of years. I wish that meant I knew a lot about her conditions in general but they can display so differently for different people xx
Crissie, you're the best! Thank you for updating your followers about the water intoxication. I guess it's just the nurse in me, but if I know something, I always want to pass that knowledge along and help others. So thank you! Btw, I love "Call the Midwife." I know you would have been an excellent midwife! I would get to attend deliveries as the "baby nurse," meaning that I was present at the delivery just to resuscitate the baby if needed. Thankfully that wasn't needed very often. It's so special being part of that magical delivery moment and be there for the first breath! I'm so glad that you and the kids didn't catch covid from Josh. I know you will enjoy getting back to Little Harbor. Have a great time! Sending my love&hugs from Georgia USA.❤️🫂🇺🇸 (This comment was meant to go on the other video! Sorry about that!)
What a wonderful job that must have been! I sob like a baby myself whenever I see births on the TV 😂 thank you for the information I didn’t know it myself so it’s definitely helpful xx
Hi Chrissy… what a great video, informative and giving the insight of usage. Avery is just so beautiful and long. I am jealous of your organization. You must be so tired by the end of your day. Anyway waiting for your next video.❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
I actually have 2 pumps I'm not using. I have the kangaroo PET and just a regular kangaroo. But getting bags for them might be a challenge. There old models.
WHAT DOES MY DISABLED TODDLER NEED? Special Needs Equipment My Daughter With Cerebral Palsy Uses Hi there I was wondering how you got your p pod really need somthing to place my nephew somewhere other than a structured seatinghis video was interesting to wach and know what avrey has and uses Great video You definitely need a bigger home Despite the amount of equipment you have you have it all well organised so from the video it doesn't seem intrusive Such a typical kiddo wanting to watch TV from Celeste Roberts try my best to keep it all neat we got the p pod through averys community Occupational Therapist
My I add that we got our grandaughter a p pod from an online selling site. They're not cheap but well worth the price for her comfort. Usually the base will fit all size seats so that's a saving too x
This was ordered through our community occupational therapist, Avery was the same she needed something she could lounge in as she can’t tolerate structured seating for long xx
So happy you can get all those equipment for her even if as a loan (though good another kid can use when she's too big for them), i f you don't have a child with multiple disabilities like this people don't realise how much equipment they actually need, I feel very sad for kids who can't get equipment and their parents can't afford.
Me too I’m so fortunate to have been born in the UK, I don’t know what we’d do without the NHS. I know there’s insurance but then you’re at the mercy of what they cover xx
Avery's like, mummy just unmute the TV. She is a very smart girl. Thanks for the update on the equipment Avery currently uses. Do you travel with any of Averys equipment, like when she went to whales l?
Only with her feed supplies and sometimes her suction machine and nebuliser. Apart from that we wouldn’t fit anything in the car. We did take her GoTo seat to America with us 🥰 it’s what she sat in on the plane seat xx
You mentioned that she can’t really swallow and might choke on toothpaste, does that mean you have given up on trying to feed by mouth in the future? Too dangerous?
You definitely need a bigger home 😊😊

Thank you ❤️ yes we do, it’s my hope that one day we will have a home and be able to build a downstairs bedroom and bathroom for Avery xx

Have you heard of infinity or kangaroo pumps? There pretty nice. 👍🏼
I have, we’re at the mercy of the NHS though and we just have to take whatever they offer xx
