I'll never forget your face after Avery's seizures began and then the Hypsarrhythmia was devastating. It broke my heart and now, it's gone so well and and you have treatment at the ready and Avery is healthier, more playful still loves 'ready steady go' and you seem like a tiny bit different mummy! I'm so happy for you all. Crissie, you're such a good mom and you think of everybody else and do so much to express your love for your family. I say it ad nauseam but you look so happy and so does Avery! As always, Never lose sight of your bliss... chele Happy Birthday Marley! 🥳 Happy Birthday Josh! 🎂
The cake might work if you just take an icing syringe and press it inside maybe even that way when it runs it just looks messy inside after the cut “but messy is what it makes it so yummy”. Sorry it went sideways on you. I bet it was still tasty! I have a question in regards to sleeping issues for my grandson. He has CP along with his Dystonia from lack of oxygen to the brain during delivery causing his brain injury & HIE we have tried everything we know to get him to sleep. He is 19 months old and he’s never gone to sleep on his own without being rocked to sleep. It’s like he’s got a disconnect with the idea of closing his eyes and resting. His body moves constantly especially his legs and weighs 30 pounds at 36 inches long it’s like wrestling with an alligator to change his diaper. He dislikes anything between his legs and We can’t leave him even when he sleeps because of his constant choking. His hearing is incredibly a cute 51 - 1:15 minutes is all he naps at a time…the house has to stop for him to nap. We hardly have time for any eating, or cleaning, or bathroom needs aren’t done unless you grab a monitor and run or take him into the bathroom with you. What kind of personal help at home might help with this inability to get the necessary rest mommy and baby need so desperately? When they’re to heal y to handle what in the world are we going to do? We say this because it’s only two people to share this task. Not everyone can feed him. I’m sure you understand. Miss A dry is getting big too. Also the equipment like specialty seating for feeds or stander/walker,any adaptations to make them work for him are all failures so far. His powerfully bowing backwards make it all you can do to keep him steady while he feeds and he is always agitated the entire time during his feeds. 😂 He is starting to take food by mouth but chokes continuously. Please any ideas we would be grateful for your input. Happy birthday to your fellow hope you all had a great time together. Your Avery and our Waylon favor each other only she seems to sleep good for you. You have a lovely family. AND YOURE DOING A FANTASTIC JOB MOMMY!
Avery you are getting to be such a big girl. Growing up for Mom and Dad so quickly. Mom your pies looked wonderful. I love pumpkin pie also here in America.
To make an authentic American pumpkin pie, just sprinkle a little of ground nutmeg on the pie filling before baking. No frosting though. It’s usually topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. I would like to try one with frosting though. 😉
I'm so glad that you use a play table with the stander. When I have seen some children in one, I've thought that no one else would be expected to stand for an hour of doing nothing!
My daughter is on the keto diet. It works very well for her…… for now. Still has seizures, just much much less. I hope you manage to find something that works for you and Avery really soon💚
Hi. Here in Canada the cream eggs are only out for easter. Been out for a very very long time. Hope your cake turns out great. Sounds yummy. Avery looks good. Glad you hopefuly got her sezures better under control. Thanks from Ontario Canada.
Always appreciate the longer vlogs. My daughter highly recommends you try making a pumpkin pie w/a gingersnap cookie crust, it took me 2 times to get it right, but worth it. The chocolate cream egg cake took me back to my Queen Anne chocolate cherry cake. Pretty much same slide away cake results n I felt your frustration in my baker's soul. Great news to hear Avery didn't have any seizure activity at neuro-physiotherapy, hopefully she'll benefit from the exercises and have fun with it too. Okay last thing...have you seen the new lights that can shine waves or the aurora borealis on walls or ceiling? My sister uses one for her son and it works wonders just calming him and giving him something beautifully relaxing to watch before bed.
It’s lovely having a child born the day before your birthday which I did . My son was the best birthday present ever . Only thing I get wished happy birthday on my sons birthday since he was born 14 years ago
I had my second son (I have three) the day before MY birthday. He was 5 weeks premature, so it was a real surprise I still tell him he was my best birthday present. He will be 35 n October 2 and I turn 64 on the 3rd
Hi Chrissy & Avery . I enjoy your channel . Avery is growing up so fast . Does Avery still wear glasses ? I just worry that she’s not seeing life as clearly as she should & that her eyes could get worse from not wearing them . She looks extra cute with her glasses ❤
She has them and we get them on her sometimes but it ends up a wasted effort as they dig into her face after a few minutes because of her movements. Luckily she still tracks really well xx
In my opinion I wouldn’t do neuro surgery just yet. Avery is still growing. If she’s having tonic clonic seizures then it’s good. Little twitches are ok as long as they only last a few seconds. I have these little twitches seizures and my neurologist told me that they are fine
@@mummyandavery my daughter has limited hand use and she finds them very rewarding. She also CVI so she likes toys that play songs and have lights 💚 just sharing my story x

You are so funny 😆 but what an amazing mummy you are, and talented, you should be so proud of yourself 😊

Will have to try the nutmeg trick next time! Xx
Same here, Cadbury eggs are available from February on. At least in Ontario Canada 🇨🇦.
16:47 yes, it can make a difference!
I'm so glad that you use a play table with the stander. When I have seen some children in one, I've thought that no one else would be expected to stand for an hour of doing nothing!
Averys physio also said the tray helps with the feeling of being in the stander and more aware of the space xx
@@mummyandavery I hadn't considered that and it makes sense

Nevermind, I commented before I finished the video. I hope kepra keeps working💪🏼
Yes we have Cadbury eggs in the U.S. They are very popular and are around at Easter time. personally, I think they are too sweet so I don’t eat them.

That’s such a great idea for Avery ❤❤
Its the thought that counts. You gave it a great try on Josh's cake. Ms.Avery is going to love her story box.
I love her wee smiles ❤
Oh it’s not just a UK thing! We get them in the stores near Easter in the USA.
That cake looks delicious, good quick thinking to save it❤❤❤❤

Yes she has a projector that looks a lot like the northern lights 🥰🥰
Love the cake!

Omg no pumpkin pie? It's a staple in the US, during the holidays🎉
We have the Cadbury cream eggs in Canada 🇨🇦…for me they are way too sweet!
Love fall season!
We have them in the United States

How lovely, happy birthday for a few weeks time xx
A gram is a ml is a cc. They are all equal.

The keppra is actually working so hopefully we won’t have to explore that route xx
I mean tonic clonic seizures aren’t good, but little twitches are ok. Sorry I’ve just realized what I’ve wrote
Oh and have you tried switch toys for her?
We’ve used them in therapy but we don’t have any yet xx
