- Trello has so many power-ups to help you get more out of your boards. But which Trello add-on will let you have advanced reporting, card sync, and dependencies? In this video, Scott Friesen shows you why Projects by Placker may just be the very best power-up for Trello.

What Trello power-up would you like me to review next? 🚀 Let me know here in the comments.
Bulk action power up. I don't know how to use it and set it up
Unito
Hey Scott, like your videos about trello a lot, thanks. And btw can you introduce a power up that can dial a number from Trello-App on iOS/Andriod? Thank again.
Hi Scott, 1) Why didn't Trello ever implement a date range for their Calendar Power-Up? I'm disappointed that this still does not work. The Workspace Calendar View is annoying because I cannot scroll through the entire year (only one month at a time), however, I like keeping it simple and free for my clients. 2) If I pay for Placker or Planyway, how is the functionality in Trello's phone app? Thanks for any insight you can provide.
Thanks so much for This valuable powerup.
Time scale on left vertical axis with cards locked to it by position instead of floating to top as a card above is moved. Also being able to drag bottom edge of card down to extend the time the task will take - Basically for daily management of tasks for each team member like a vertical gantt chart with hourly time scale that allows cards to be a small as 1/4 hour and as long as 8 hours.
It's great ! thank you
You are very welcome!
loved the video! thank you.
You are so welcome!
Incredible video.
Highly informative, and perfectly spoke to Trellos increased value with these benefits. As far as cost, utterly worth it in my opinion because otherwise only LeanKit has comparable flexibility with story points. This is my first video from this channel, but 100% subscribing. Very cool.
Thanks Scott. Seems there’s a lot on this power up. Break it down in future videos. Watching this space😁
Yes, Placker certainly has a lot of features to help Trello users. I'll plan to go into further detail in the future.
How doy you do when you pass a card in complete de date turns in green
Using trello, It takes a little getting used to. Understanding boards, lists, etc took me some time. zentao is a better choice because it easier to understand and has more features with cheaper price.
Scott, Thanks so much for your videos! They are so easy to understand. I own 2 separate small businesses. Rather than having 1 Trello account for each, I was thinking of just using 1 account for both and separating each company by using teams. Do you recommend maintaining 2 accounts, 1 for each company? Or is it okay to have 1 user ID and separate my companies by Teams? I'm early enough in my use of Trello where it would still be okay to make a shift. Hope this all makes sense! Thanks again! Lisa
Great question, Lisa. From what you describe here, I think 1 account with different teams would be your best approach. It will simplify your management and remove the need to switch accounts on a regular basis.
@@Simpletivity You are so awesome! Thank you!
How to sumarize check list for diferent task and diferent list. To created a automatic report?
To get specific, using Placker you can create dependencies in tasks. What would the dependent tasks look like in the Gant Chart/view? Does it show up as a dependency? Excellent video.
Yes, that's correct, Adrian.
Oh man didnt know i could track kpi
A bit too expensive.
@@nitikalad2261 it mentions open source, looks interesting
Aloha Scott! because of your videos, I am using Trello and really like this app. I need your help, because I have a number of boards, but i need an app that helps me coordinate all of the boards. I'd like an app to help me put all of the dates from all of the boards on ONE calendar, and see ALL cards with the same flag (ex. all GREEN flags) from all boards, to help me plan. It looks like all of the Power-ups have to be enabled on each board. Is there an app that can be applied to all boards at once? Please advise - Mahalo!
Aloha Scott & Tammi, i have the same issue. The only thing i came up with is by creating a new list in Placker and link the list of another board (which for example has the Power-up "Butler") to the board who has Placker as a Power-up. That way i can track the list, unfortantly i cant link cards. I hope i make sense, greetings from the Netherlands. And by the way Scott i love your videos.
Would you recommend the Gant chart feature for a home improvement service company?
A Gantt chart can be a great way to manage multiple staff who have different responsibilities on the same project.
What is the different between this tool and Unito? Trying to decide which one to use. Thanks in advance for your reply.
Unito can sync cards across boards based on rules. Placker can sync individual cards manually and also give you a higher level view of multiple boards.
@@Simpletivity We just released or new Card mirror power-up that fills this hole, you can now even automatically create mirrors between checklist items and cards
yeah right: trello gold: 5dlls, a trello plugin: 15 dlls..woot?
