Just got my bike back from dealer. They hooked it up to a co2 gauge. With podkit 130 main jet 27.5 pilot jet and needle clip on lowest notch. It was still running a bit lean on full throttle. So if people go for this set up consider 135 or even 137.5 main jet....👍

I like the look of a filter on the side of the engine. I put a 76mm spectre filter from autozone on mine. And made a nice support bracket for $50 total. That’s with the purchase of a 3“ hole saw bit.

Great video , lots of information throughout 👍 wanted to to know if you experienced lots of noise or vibrations going over 120 kmph or about 4800 rpm on 5th gear ? Current setup : cobra slip ons , stock pilot jet , 130 main jet , pod kit air filters , 3.5 turns out. Im not happy with the performance on warm days and im switching to K&N clamp on as Im hoping it will breathe cooler. Im using your other video and setup when i switch from pods to the k&n
Hey man. I saw the original video where you first did the tank and I noticed over time that the rust on it has furthered. And i really dig it. I'm about to do mine the same way. I had a question as to whether that was happening naturally over time under the clear coat or if it was influenced in some way? Thanks. Love the videos. Can't wait to see what's next for the new 250 tuesday

I know it's a BDS28 28MM TWIN CARBY or is there a series model /series number for this carby to get matching pilot a d mains .?
Sounds great Cobber, looks cleaner too. Seems like you've gotta stop yaself from gettin on her alot more. Did you lose any bottom end? Have you been trying the digital tacho on her between mods, to see power band movement?

Hey man I got a stack 2.5 inch off Amazon that looks like a cbr stack. I have little over a fingers width of space until top on inside tank. Is that enough space ? Or should I cut the stacks down a inch & I’ll be running 120 mains. About to install right now what should I look for in the tune for issues. Thanks man
@@iRidetas hey buddy so I ended up cutting it in half, sanded down, looking great. Currently have 22.5 lows 120mains. Runs fine but Does not have a deep fuel rich sound. Ordered 25 lows and 130 mains about to install just like you. I do have VH short shots exhaust and I’m going to remove baffles. I’ll keep you posted

Cheers mate! I sanded the clear coat off, let it rust more then now use a 50 50 mix of linseed and mineral turps to coat it. Its much better.

Hi mate i just got a 650 any idea why someone would disconnect the hose that goes to the bottom of the air filter bowl and block it off ?
Sounds like the stock layout mate, if its straight down say 6 oclock from the dog bowl air cleaner

Stock i.e the 6 oclock pipe is connected to the dog bowl the other end is blocked

Are they 125 pilot or #25 ? Your description says 25 but in the video you say 125
#25 pilot and #130 main

Looking good mate, what did you do with your old tin wear. I just fitted 130s to my carbs makes a big difference

It does look and sound like you have lost some low and mid range torque in place of high rpm power
Having ridden the bike constantly from stock to this point, i gota say nope i feels like it pulls harder through all gears than it did!
How much did this upgrade cost? Im keen to try it
