Ok, but hear me out:
Pro Gamer in a ridiculous Shudderwock Hostage shaman, and you force your opponent to play 1000 games of rock paper scissors in a russian-roulette-mill-nightmare
Oh god...
Plz @MarkMckKz
You’re going to hell for this
That might be the best Hostage Shudderwock ever.. wow
Give this man an award
What I like about the mage 3 drop is that it's another solid result from spot the difference. I've been enjoying minonless mage and An additional sticky result will help that card a bit I think.
Agreed, love no minion mage and have whenever the archetype has popped up but spot the different feels like a pretty weak card with the three drops available in the pool.
lol came here for this comment
Dang malfunction abouta pop off in this one
I think that with some number crunching, maybe only with another card cost change that might be great: You find mana tiers that are very heavy on board clear/summons/card draw and then you build your deck accordingly and play the cards accordingly. Maybe there's a mana tier which does some AoE dmg 66% and then to trigger that effect you play a freeze effect, possible.
daekmoon magician bein elusive means the targeted spell won't target itself, which is pretty cool
Increases the odds you fireball yourself in the face though lol.
@@MinoriGaming And it also means he can't target himself with a buff
Neutral 3 mana demon cast 2 secrets until the next turn. Get some random mage and rouge secrets in there
Rogue has no secrets in standard right now, same for Paladin. Only Mage and Hunter at the moment.
They have to trigger which I’ve found can be tricky. I often just stall my turn to not trigger enemy temporary secrets but I do agree this could be a good synergy still
@@zachorletzkiy I mean forcing your opponent to stall their turn is still a win for you. That’s the essence of Secret Hunter right there, making turns miserable because anything you do risks getting punished
@@MinoriGaming very true! Making them stall can be a win in itself
Mage needs more love tbh they're at the bottom with 40% class win rate.
best case for pro gamer would be in a mill deck where either the opponent draws cards, or you draw cards in either case you win. the only time you wouldnt is if no one draws. but even then in a mill deck theirs so many more consistant ways to mill you would never see it.
Watercolor artist + buy one, get one freeze = 0-mana copy of sif + magic school
Put pro gamer in a mill deck, call that a pro gamer move
it is
That is the use case. Play it when drawing cards is good for you and bad for your opponent
I like that you can even bounce product 9 with king plush if you are lucky enough, and then get another round of secrets
You can also generate 0 mana copies of it with the surprise eggs and yelling yodeler
Or makes copies with mystery egg, and take people hostage!
It's what I'll be building day 1, probably awful though.
@@Bladius_ It probably won’t be meta but it’ll be a damn fun off meta deck.
I mean, malfunction is also great for cleaning up elusive minions
Getting back into hs and regis is still making the banger videos hell yeah
Love the callback to subject 9 a neutral card from way back that draws secrets. Often played in hunter since its a beast and hunter secrets were decent.
Probably still unplayable, but what if “Pro Gamer” said: “Draws two on their next turn”. If you win, it doesn’t play differently, but if your opponent wins, then their card draw is also delayed
Pro Gamer should have just been a simultaneous thing... its stupid that the outcome is delayed at all.
@@fallendeus5641that would break the fundamental rule of Hearthstone that you cannot interact with your opponents turn using your own actions.
@@fallendeus5641 choose mechanics eat into the turn timer, so it would just be a "never player mid turn or start of turn", and the opponent will sand bag the timer, or you play this at the end of turn when the rope is burning to give you opponent a very short timer to pick, or result in a nope pick. which would be even more toxic then taking up the start of their turn doing a 1/3 to draw 2.
Not every card needs to be playable especially meme ones
The new hunter Egg would be nice with Product 9 for several 1-mana: cast 5 secrets.
Product 9 looks fun as hell
Sure does! But as a free to play guy here, I'll never get to try it 😢
Wilderness pack is for aggro. Play whole hand and play pack in The next turn
Buy One Get One Free is going to feel great getting it off of a Primordial Glyph especially if you’re playing Rainbow Mage.
Pro Gamer forcing opp to draw Boomboss bombs seems good
Can't wait for pro gamer mill rogue with togwaggle's scheme
Darkmoon Magician has some pretty good potential. Forcing it to cast a 9 cost spell is guaranteed The Scourge or Sunset Volley, and Audio Splitter can generate more 8 cost copies to keep hammering the opponent. The problem is that standard Mage only has one 8 cost spell and it's garbage RNG that will probably kill your Darkmoon Magician before he can perform his followup spellcast.
He's a looming threat in Standard that will get exploited if Mage ever gets a good 8 cost and they don't introduce a trash 9 cost outcome, and he's complete garbage that will never get used in Wild, unless they introduce an 11 cost spell or something.
Project 9 should also be able to recast the upgraded secrets from tavish, which is nice.
Yeah, I'm gonna make a mystery egg hostage hunter when the miniset drops.
Get a bunch of free project9s and make the game as miserable as possible.
I wish High Noon Duelist (Deathrattle: Both players DRAW! Destroy the card that costs less.) still worked like it originally did where a tie gave the win to the one who played the card & that Pro Gamer would allow the same. Or even ensuring a tie gave the win to the opponent so they draw cards. This way mill decks could use it for the 1 in 3 chance of drawing them cards or drawing into your win con sooner.
Pro Gamer is a perfect card for the pro gamers playing mill decks
Could anybody explain to me, why "get one freeze"s card text needs to specify that the copy will be frozen too?
Like.. it's a copy and the original is already frozen. I just can't come up with an edge case where that would matter at all 🤔
Lots of examples of this in HS, I think it is just for clarity so you read the card and know 100% what the board will look like after you play it
Probably just to avoid any feelsbad moments with misunderstanding what the card does
I feel like the new hunter secret is gonna be really frustrating to trigger cause it’s gonna end up paying off later in the game
Would the tavish secrets work on product 9? It does say every.
Should do, no reason it shouldn't.
Pro gamer is pretty decent imo, 2/3 potential to burn 2 cards or draw 2 cards. If played when your opponent has at least 9 cards in hand.
Do you know the next time you will be streaming on twitch? I know Regina comes first, but we all miss you
that legendary can be Synergy with 3 mana demon what the name is... I don't know.
Wilderness Pack + Gaslight gatekeeper? Eh? Ehhh?
Who let this man cook?
Cool, if it wasn't in hunter.
If it's not tempo, we don't play it.
Real talk tho, pro gamer is interesting in a mill deck. You either get cards or mill. Could be good in dk
Bargain binsays it draws "a" card from one of the 2. I don't think it draws both
Probably with 9 is your opponent knows what secrets you had trigger
That's not an issue, never has been with cards like Zuljin.
Once you have 4+ secrets up even if you know what they have up, you still have to play your turn accounting for them.
Also if you play more than 5, in wild mostly, they actually don't know what you have up, since it will just pick 5 of them at random.
glad your hitting my feed again. you'd disappeared post the shift to the marvel gacha scam.
Buy one get one freeze: nice Titan you got there. Would be a shame…
Reverb is better, titans can't activate when frozen, they can with reverb.
The new pack mechanic seems very... bad. Except for maybe on Mage and Warlock
Can We all just agree that Team 5 doesn't like mages?
Regis, why does the class get a complete make over every single expansion instead of getting support for existing decks?
A mage minion after they print no minion cards lol.
They’re trying to support Casino Mage too. The ultimate problem is they can’t print any half-decent spells because all burn they print has to be 5+ mana and all the tempo has to be Elemental Mage support because they don’t want Sif to be anything higher than tier 4.
@@MinoriGaming Forgot that existed.
Bargain Bin really feels super pushed to me.
It is, but it's in a class that doesn't play nice with value. You can really push value pretty hard in hunter, and we still don't play it.
I think bargain bin is playable though, specifically because starstrung bow exists.
welp time to nerf Product 9 to 7 mana
Pro Gamer needs to be the opposite. It should prompt for your opponent first, then prompt for you on your turn. Otherwise this card is just absolute garbage
why is a "malfunction" a spell? Why does that make any sense? And why does that care if I have minions in my deck? What a stupid game
