Lt. Surge:
Lt. Surge is known as the "Lightning Lieutenant". Apparently, he is or was an American soldier who fought in at least one war, during which Electric-type Pokémon saved his life. As a member of the army, Surge was a strict CO, and was rather cautious. He was a pilot as well, and used Electric-type Pokémon to power his planes, a practice that in at least one occasion saved his life. Also, Surge saved the life of one of the Trainers in his Gym who was in the army at the same time. A little paranoid, Lt. Surge installed a series of traps in the Gym. He takes a liking to Trainers with a lot of guts.
The Soldier:
The Soldier is a crazed, jingoistic patriot from Midwest, USA, who portrays himself as a military man despite being rejected from the US army. Tough and well-armed, he is versatile, capable of both offense and defense, and a great starter class to get familiar with the game. Well-balanced and possessing both survivability and mobility, the Soldier is considered one of the most flexible classes in Team Fortress 2. Despite his low ground movement speed, he is capable of using rocket jumps to reach his destination quickly. His large health pool is second only to that of the Heavy, and his wide array of armaments and weaponry allows him to bring whatever weapon or equipment is best suited to the situation at hand.

SaveTF2 hashtag didnt work as well as hoped but here’s hoping #FixTF2 does. Also Soldier won. Most of Surge’s lines asides from the end were just calling him stupid and glazing himself. That market gardener line you slipped in though? Beautiful.

Why does it feel like you went very easy on Soldier here?
It’s like you went out of your way to avoid mentioning Valve neglect, the Bots, killing Tom Jones, getting tricked by the Announcer to kill Demo, etc.
I thought mentioning most of that with the possibility of things changing could immediately make the battle out of date. I referenced the event of Soldier and Demo with Demo calling Soldier a Civilian. Least thats the event that made me think of the diss. I will admit tho, killing Tom Jones is inexcusable!

Solider loses. He’s skilled but the majority of Pokémon outstat him. Raichu alone is downscaling mountain level destruction from Ash’s Pikachu.

@@RubenHernandez-xq6nz Still loses. The majority of Pokémon topple mountain level threats and can react to and dodge hyperbeams, which are light speed. Solider simply isn’t anywhere near that level. Not to mention, Solider is a lot dumber than Surge, who is a battle tactician, and he’s outnumbered significantly.

In the game Lt. Surge is from, Pichu doesn’t exist, and the reference itself is from a point in the anime where Pikachu was the first stage

Nice battle! The Soldier won.
Here are some of my suggestions:
1. The Master Vs. Loki Laufeyson - Both are the same race as the Doctor/Thor and serve as their darker counterparts. Both are also tricksters who can shapeshift.
2. Devilman Vs. Bibleman - This one is self-explanatory.
3. Red Tornado Vs. Avatar Aang - Bald heroes who can control the wind and have arrows on their foreheads.
4. Mr. Krabs Vs. Blitzø - Selfish, red bosses who are accompanied by a hyperactive optimist and a punching bag. They also have adopted daughters.
5. Jafar Vs. Shantae - Desert genies. One is evil, while the other is good.
6. Howard the Duck Vs. Eric Duckman - Cynical detectives who happen to be ducks.
