For climbs, cold is definitely better. Overheating is a much greater factor than air density at low speed. For a flat TT, warm is good as density matters more and you're moving faster so more wind to cool you off.
that's great Phil. At the end, where your stats are being shown, a box appears in the lower left, advertising another of your videos, and it totally blocks a lot of the info I'd like to see. Any way to stop it from appearing?
3 iconic KOM'S for L'Etape Las Vegas. Full Climb 2.0 and gate to gate in Red Rock. And if course Potosi Climb. Are you bringing any fast ladies with you? I don't see any female ambassadors listed.
Great effort. Question: do you get nerves ahead of an effort like this? I always get nervous and almost giggly in a scared/excited way because I know I’m gonna hurt myself. Also, Richie is older than you.
Focusing on the bottom of your stroke where you imagine that you're scraping gum off your shoe. One-legged drills help, and honestly a little bit goes a long way there. If you do 10 sets of 1 min drills alternating legs, a couple times a week for a few weeks, you'll see improvements and probably won't have to keep doing them
i just love hurting on hills forget the bs power meter and the over analysis just get on your bike and have fun. Hammer if you want or just work on your form. You arent in the tour de france and chances are you wont ever be. Enjoy cycling for a what it is a chance to get some exercise and look at some great scenery.
I enjoy analysing data after a hard climb, and many other cyclist enjoy it too. I can easily say you think power meters are bs because you are a wattlet, ad hominems are easy to throw around.
Pedal With your Abs
Perfect for a tshirt 👌😂😎
Thanks mate
Ah, honeymoon! Congrats Phil! Impressive effort, well done!
I live close to here. Absolutely fantastic for cycling.
Thanks Phil. Great effort and commentary.
Impressive time, well done. An honest performance and high watts throughout. Thats a tough time and u are there with the best, chapeau
Loved the comment about coming alive on a good climb. Almost twice your age and 1/2 the watts and still love it.
Congratulations amazing performance ❤
very impressive! love the commentary also

Hey Phil
Suggestion - a different colour dot on the map which shows where the KOM is on the climb in relation to your effort.

Cool video….✊
Only 3 second quicker needed to bump Froomie.
You gotta go back Phil !!

HI Phil, are you riding tubulars here? what brand?
0:19 "to crack the top 10 you must beat Christopher Froome"
Yeah but 2018 Christopher Froome tho... pre-crash, just off winning 4x TdF
I don't think Phil was putting the Froomster down here. Rather pointing out the ridiculous depth on this Strava segment:)
Bro, please can you share some tips on pedalling technique for efficiency and power output
Many thanks
I'm not Phil but I think I've got this. Push down with your right foot, then push down with your left. Then repeat until you get fast!

A lot of people might see those 13 and 14 mph, and don't understand that above 10 mph is super brilliant. This is a loonnnggggg hill climb, no joke.
Any chance you have any new First Endurance discount codes?

we're all supposed to OOH and AHH over these doper watts KOM attempts? lmao
You must really suck to think I need drugs to come 11th on a strava
See, I'm just the opposite, I love ripping down a hill.
Why you never go aero , even uphills would make difference …potato
That's not impressive, this ride is a big lie, no more no less.
Why are you the way that you are?
