I'm 15 years old and currently struggling with depression and anxiety disorder, and being able to watch you guys every day not only gives me something to look forward to after school and practice, but no matter what it always seems to put a smile on my face and brighten my day. I found you guys about a week ago, when i was home from school because my mental health seemed to have had a huge drop and i couldn't bare to go to school, and then i found you. I watched so many of your videos for the rest of the day, and sure enough i was back the next to see what was going on in the Frey life. Your strength and ability to smile everyday has definitely taught me that happiness is a choice. Though i am young and still learning to cope with my mental illness, i know i can always look forward to watching you guys, and having that one thing to make me laugh and smile again. I just got a standard poodle to potentially be my service dog in the future, he's was 9 weeks old yesterday and he's been here for a week and I don't even have time to watch your videos anymore! Mine is right on the top of my left breast...I've accessed it myself but I'm not allowed to. It's tricky because I'm either at my apartment or at my parents' house an hour away. I can't shower with mine in because every shower thing leaks. It sucks because I'm on IVs constantly...for the past 2.5 years (I don't have CF) I want to be clean!

Hey Mary and Peter I just got diagnosed with vocal cord dysfunction after a month or so of what we thought was an asthma flare up. I cough nearly constantly now and am wondering how you deal with the coughing in public. People are really rude and stare and look all grossed out by me. I am finding this really upsetting and discouraging. I know that they are just looking out for their personal health. I keep praying for God to give me piece and not let it upset me when people are like this. How do you not let it get you down?
That is a really good question. Sure, you know logically that people are concerned about their health, but that doesn't always help on an emotional level. And some folks like to throw in a bunch of drama with their reactions. Even when your struggling with a plain ol' common cold, this kind of behavior can be hard to take.

Places of worship can deny access to a service dog. The only other place that can deny access to a service dog are places where the service dog would cause a disruption to the fundamental aspect of a business aka the dog will upset the business somehow (it may not be safe to take the dog to a petting zoo or into an area that needs to be sterile). Also operating rooms and sterile units (such as a burn units) can also deny a service dog. Other than that they are legally permitted in any public place their handler is!

They're in a friends basement which seems to have an extra bathroom and kitchen area which is very lucky for Mary as saves stairs all day lol
