Hi guys, in this video I will show you how to fix something didn't go as planned windows 11
Sometimes a windows user may encounter with this problem during finish the windows update like,
Something didn't go as planned.
No Need to worry - undoing changes.
Please keep your computer on.
And every time during finish the windows update the screen always shows "Something didn't go as planned" and then restart your computer.
Causes of something didn't go as planned:
1. If the Windows Update service stops while the update is still installing,
2. Windows might try to undo the changes because it can't continue the installation.
3 If Windows Software Distribution folder has become corrupt and is preventing Windows from installing the updates.
There are several fixes on the internet but they didn’t work for this computer. Luckily, I found another method that 100% worked on many computers, and also this video will help restore the system health if system has any integrity violations.

@@flyingred8968 no I had to reset my computer, so I lost almost everything on it. You can press F ten on most computers to get to the restart mode and try to see if you can diagnose it.
Shut down your computer and than by restart you have to press on the button ESC so you can start the settings and than it will be clear and easy for you. Good luck 🤞

Guys don't do any of dat shit its pretty simple to fix this issue you have corrupt system file that's the problem just type in the settings Reset and click reset this pc don't worry you won't reset your pc actually it will take you to a page you will find on top option says "Fix problems using windows update (your apps,settings,files) click Reinstall now after you do that go to windows update you should find an update by the name windows 11 update (Repair version) it should be repair version!! If it didn't shows up restart your pc and try again once the update complete click restart and this will fix your system corrupted files

Can you explain why my computer always restarting By itself? I mean when the something didn't go as planned text popped out then the restarting is popped out and Its always repeating(still in the booting system),and once i see a text like downloading blah blah blah please keep your computer on and the restarting symbol is popped out again.

After the download of win11 eng file it cannot been extracted. NOW WHAT SHOULD I DO?
@hemangfirani902, you don't need to extract the ISO, you only need to mount it. If you can't mount the ISO (by double clicking it, or right click - Mount) then chances are it was corrupted during the download process and you'll have to try again to get a clean download.
It was fixed for one week and now the issue is back again. This is really annoying!
but what If it keeps saying the thing and when it says restarting its taking me back to the undring thing?
I did what you said I downloaded the iso and ran setup.exe... but says Sorry, we're having trouble determining if your PC can run Windows 11. Please close Setup and try again. I tried setup.exe again and still doesn't work same message. I have an ASUS TUF A15 2021 so it should run Windows 11.

I have a big problem my undo changes is stuck and after like 3-5min the blue screen comes up and restart the pc and then undo comes up and then again blue screen. How can I fix the problem?

Awesome. Worked for me...thanks for the help. FYI - if you're having problems downloading the ISO from the MS site, make sure you choose a language After selecting a platform and then click Confirm. I didn't notice this step but rather I just chose the platform and clicked Download. It flashed a message saying it would take a few minutes but it never did download. When I 1) chose the platform 2) chose a language 3) clicked Confirm, it launched a new page with another Download button that actually did download the file. The video shows it correctly, I just overlooked that step.

This doesn't work at all for me. I'm on Insider Preview Beta. Prior to viewing this video, I've emptied the Software Distribution folder, downloaded the older Beta ISO (22621.1) and installed it and I still get the same error when trying to install the latest update (22635.2915)

Whenever I click on setup it shows " Windows Setup cannot start due to missing installation files. If you previously launched setup from a local directory, copy all the installation again relaunch Setup. " please help
Sounds like your Windows ISO file was corrupted!

this is just to let others know i just experienced a HUGE lock up where nothing would work not even the taskbar or task manager, then not even the power button would work on the outside of the case....eventually and don't ask me how the machine did reboot...upon completion i noticed a distinct difference in what was there before and now........the prompt trying to persudae me to upgrade to win 11 had gone....rememeber what i said not even the taskbar or task manager would work ie ctrl+Alt+Del had no effect.......i'm very suspicious this because of MS and it's not on just locking up my machine like it did,,,,,,,it damages users HDD the f** pricks.......pardon my french but i am extremely vexxed about the entire experience.. love to know if aanyone else has has such an experience very recently cheers

I own an Acer Nitro 5.
I have secure boot enabled in the BIOS, but when I launch Windows, the secure boot status off
Go to BIOS and set the Windows Boot Manager as first boot priority order, after that save the changes and exit from BIOS.
After that again check the Secure boot status, hopefully your problem will be solved!

You can take a backup for your assurance, and also this is good practice.

This is only upgrade procedure, not a formatting or wiping procedure.
However, you can take a backup before proceeding for your assurance!

This is only update procedure, not a clean installation method!
Disconnecting all the external storage device is highly recommended when you are going to update your operating system!
