  • The Williston Reservoir is a huge inland waterbody. Its creation led to (among other things) the proliferation of lots of coarse woody debris in the basin. It was everywhere, it still is everywhere but each year it gets a little cleaner. Like scrubbing a bathtub ring - or rather piling and burning huge amounts of wood.
    The debris clean up program is Chu Cho Industries program, we're proud to work with them on this one each year.

      Thanks Jake! It is an enormous reservoir but the debris clean up is working. TKD citizens talk about being able to walk clear across the reservoir on debris only back in the 70's and early 80's. Hard to imagine.
