My OP: Sophia was unnecessary - extreme and vicious; Dorothy had the easiest role - sarcastic and grumpy are far less challenging than creating an entirely new character from scratch like Blanche and Rose - they don’t habitually disrespect, insult and attack, they aren’t know-it-all, and they’re human and relatable. Rue and Betty were my faves, and I consider Rue the rock that made the show what it was.
