I would agree that this helmet is a good buy to a point. I have the cool Metro Firefly version in black. I have ridden with it for the past month or so. I am normally a small size, so went for small with the LS2. The helmet felt great from the start, so light compared to my other Caberg Duke and Tourmax flip up helmets. The visibility felt far superior and the ventilation as you say is amazing for the price. The drop down visor is cable operated and super smooth and it comes down further than other helmets. What let this helmet down for me was after 30 minutes riding the liner stitching at the forehead area started digging into my head, I had to stop and remove it and it left grooves on my forehead were the liner made contact. To combat this I have to wear a coolmax balaclava which I hate wearing in summer. The other problem is when it rains. The insert does stop misting, but water manages to run down inside the visor and the insert causing distortion, that really annoys me. Other than those short comings I think it's great value for the price and I got a great deal with a free iridium blue visor included.
OK Rover, hahaha.. I am seeing all yours comments LOL. I think that I will purchase it, because in motocard.com I have it for 95€!!!! what do you think friend?
I hate people that do a "review" and all they do is tell about all the great things about it. There are negatives of every helmet. If you do a review you tell the good things and the bad ones. For example, this helmet rattles when you shake it. The Strobe doesn't do that. The ventilation is excellent but you'll lose those covers in no time.
This is a very inexpensive modular helmet. I use the price to temper my expectations for the product. This helmet exceeds my personal expectations at this price point. If you want a better helmet you need to spend more. - Van
I ended up watching a few more reviews from you and no matter the price range, you never talk about the negatives. They're promotional videos, not reviews. Actually, the Strobe is a better helmet and is $50 cheaper. It is quieter, doesn't rattle, and the chin vents can be closed with a flick of the switch. The metro is better looking and moves more air, that's it.
Being a half full type of person is a great way to live life but makes you a worthless reviewer. People looking at reviews want to know what's great about a product but also want to know what things they would find a deal breaker. You make the helmet seem as good as a Schuberth C4 or a Shoei Neotec. It's not but the person researching doesn't know that. They need to know what things are not as good or why you pay that extra money for the Schuberth or Shoei. At least they know going into the purchase what they are giving up when they spend less money. They can make an informed decision, not just jumping on buying something they later find is not what they are looking for.
Also it is a great lid for the money but why would anyone pay $50 more for the Metro over the Strobe? What things are better suited for one over the other? You don't get any of that from your "reviews".

Didn't the metro have a drop down visor? He didn't talk about it
Prove uno y hacia mucho ruido como si sintonizar con extratdrrestres
Жаль, что ничего про шумность не сказал, а в остальном отличный обзор.
this helmet...very confortable, but the wind noise is bad.
Sorry to break it to you but helmets under $300 are usually more noisy/windy, which is why a lot of sportbike riders wear earplugs.
Thats y i sold back the helmet. Not for me. Looking for the fullface helmet.
Acabe de comprar uno por 100 dolares, esperemos que tal sale.
We are no longer offering LS2 Helmets. They will be removed from our site in the next couple of months. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear hi, why did you stop selling LS2? Are they not up to standards anymore?
The Metro goes from $199 - $219
*graphic pops up and says 199-249* try editing.

I am a glass half full type of dude. If I thought the helmet was a pile of shit I wouldn't sell it. Great lid for the money...
