Depends a bit on the aspect you use, but in general; Pick an aspect and practice a bit, each one has a few quirks. The attack feels clunky until you get into the pattern of firing and collecting skulls. The special feels a little clunky until you get into the habit of timing omega vs regular special. So in general I'd take the Skull into a run aiming for a Daedalus upgrade ASAP and focus on one thing depending on which aspect oyu're playing, for example: Full Salvo on Aspect of Medea makes the gameplay much smoother. You can build Persephone for special spam like in the video. Or you can practice mixing Attack + Omega Attack on Aspect of Melinoe. Try to get extra shells so you can fire with a higher damage bonus while they're on the floor.
@@Tenkiei maybe it's just me but I feel like the default attack/special of the skulls are trash and the omega attack/special are so much better but they cost magic, so it's a high magic build, and that's hard to get sometimes. I feel like the omega should have been swapped for the default attack/special instead. the omega attack reminds me of the adamant rail so idk why they made this the omega instead of default. and the default special feels so worthless (I know you made it work but that's with a VERY specific boon and hammer upgrade).
@@l.n.3372joining a bit late but I just cleared 16 fear with skulls! Here’s how I use the move sets: Attack - bread and butter. Dash/special close to enemies and hit hit hit then special/dash out, repeat. Can also be used to zone once you get used to the range and aim. Omega attack - when I have surplus mana and distance from opponents // cautious to save hp Special: repositioning tool like the shield charge / Achilles special in H1 Omega Special: yes. Spam. Don’t stop spamming. Omega special attack attack attack rinse and repeat
my favorite build right now. it slaps
It feels like it takes forever to charge glory - I've never actually seen it fill up to full
It takes a long time to fully charge glory, but even a partial charge is really strong.
I tried the skulls weapon the other day and it just felt odd. Any tips to make this weapon feel good to use?

@@davidawakim5473 but the default special doesn't have invulnerability. it's not half as good as bull rush on the shield in Hades 1, either.
A fun build with skulls?? I know what I'm wasting nightmare on.
The patch buffed it too!
