Redolessence Did you get to put it on your skin Steven? I love your initial reaction "Wow that smells great!" Plus your perception of the pineapple at tge heart which is Heavenly throughout and it only gets sweeter as dance continues.

I am absolutely obsessed with this fragrance and need to buy a bottle asap. I've gone through so many samples of this it's time to take the plunge. The first time I wore it was last summer but I think I like it better in the colder weather (although you can wear it year-round). Great review!

Ohh, interesting notes! I'm about to pull the trigger on a full bottle of Carnel Flower this week, almost finished my 10ml travel spray. Adore POAL, closest thing to a signature fragrance I have. Also want to get Lys Mediterrane before summer.

Greetings Carlos! I just bought Frederic Malle Music For A While today from Neiman Marcus store in San Antonio. I bought the big bottle for $300. I wished that I would have watched this video because I purchased Music For A While however I'm in love of it. It is strong, it last about 8 plus hours on my skin, projects about 4 plus feet, and leave a very good scent trail. I will go with one spray to the back of the neck and one on each wrist.

It's a great scent, not blind buy worthy but something that I appreciate, especially that patchouli which has been wonderfully done

I have a bunch of Frederic Malle and just discovered they had a lavender fragrance.
I ordered a travel 10 ml, French Lover is a favorite.
So you guys confirmed that I am going to like it...
Carlos I have been testing this for a few days and I think you will grow to love it. To me I get a byredo pulp like fruits in the open and it drys down to a beautiful clean pineapple that lasts forever. I think this is going to be amazing for summer.

I've tested only musc ravageur from FM and was ok. Not a super fan of powerful lavander scents but i would happy test this one. Great content and great duo as always Carlos 👍🏻
I feel this gets heavenly sweet on the dry down with the pineapple and hours after even sweeter. Love my sample im about to buy a bottle of this elegant scent. Love your videos though Carlos and great review.

This new Frederic Malle sounds interesting and I like the name of it(catchy)just as much as the names of the other frags from the same house that preceded it. I’m a fan of lavender so this ones up my “alley”. I enjoyed hearing how the fragrance smelled differently on you and Steven. Great collaboration like always. God bless gents.

Can’t wait to try this! Great review guys. Now, when I think lavender I think sweet and clean, totally different from the comparison frags you guys mentioned. Please do me a favor and put a couple drops of Lavender in each shoe before you begin your day and you will totally see what I’m talking about. The Lavender that way Carlos is totally different from any Lavender in any fragrance.

This sounds...ok. Carlos isn't super excited about it, so I'm hesitant. I've always wanted to try Musc Ravageur. I do like lavender. Sunshine Man from Amouage has lots of lavender and that one is super strong, but works so well for me. I like that you try as hard as you can to like it no matter what, I do the same thing, unless a fragrance is abysmal.
Excellent review guys! That's funny, because whenever I wear this, I get tons of ethylmaltol cotton candy and pineapple more than anything else. Smells great tho.

Pachouli is one of my favourite fragrance notes and I think I like lavender too so sounds good, but sounds like it may be a bit feminine?
Definitely not. In fact, leans very masculine.

I finally got around to smelling the entire line (briefly) and really enjoy Vetiver Ex and Iris Poudre. Musc Rav wasn't as clovey as I expected on my skin, so that'll have to be another like. Definitely for the more mature crowd though - possibly all of their offerings. Thanks for the review Carlos and Steven!

Favorite remains Vetiver Extraordinaire and French Lover. I like POAL too but all I have are decants. Would love to try this even if I’m not a big lavender fan myself.

Sounds like an interesting scent to check out. Ironically, my SOTD is Creed's lavender based Bois du Portgual! Really like the FM house.
Malle is so expensive. I do like Geranium and Portrait. They have been underwhelming me for a while now. I wanted Monsieur to knock me out.... but it didn't.

Angeliques sous la pluie is my favorite Frederic Malle. I do love lavender... but many lavender fragrances are quite masculine. Is this one very masculine or more unisex? I like Pour une homme and Eau de reglisse and I think of those as more unisex.
