For me all those sounds are SO NOSTALGIC! I LOVE IT! And yes, my country (Finland) some pros are still using Synths and Soundbanks from 80's even from professional standpoint, since they sound so iconic.
I can't find any for $20. I used to, but not anymore. Ebay flippers keep snapping them up and selling them for retarded prices on Ebay. And now the 2nd hand stores are pricing them based on inflated Ebay prices. This keyboard would be marked up over $100 now. I simply don't buy them. I'd rather spend the money on a modern retro keyboard.
Wow, then I guess I made a bargain! However, here in the Nordics we do not have those prices on Casio Tone Bank or Casiotone yet. I saw another CA-110 now out for $55, but that one was not sold. The only Casios that have crazy prices, is the CZs. A CZ-1000 e.g. could go for $400. 😱
Oh, and 6:58 Snare Bass was very videly used in quorky jams of 80's and 90's, such as the original Disney Themes of Ducktales (ua-cam.com/video/nqZ_Cb2slBw/v-deo.html) or Darkwing Duck (ua-cam.com/video/0-Y2eM9KZ6Y/v-deo.html).
@@AdamVoxMusic Yeah, I know. I was born in -92 and lived my chilhood listening urban popjams, techno and happyhardcdore of 80's and 90's. First introdusction to all of this was somewhere in -97 or -99.
There may be one at my mum's. Next time I go...
Save it! 👍
put that through a chorus and reverb pedal and that'll sound amazing I bet.
👍 I think recording on individual channels, and do a propper master will do wonders as well! We will see in two weeks when I publish the result! 😊

Agreed! And thanks for the comment! 😊

Twenty quid well spent I think! 😀
Indeed! I think it is a very low price for a piece of 80s Music history. In the future we will also discover if I can get some pro sounds out of it! 😊
@@AdamVoxMusic With enough reverb and chorus...;-)
Its amazing how useable some of the sounds are on old synths especially when you can put a load of effects in the chain
Yes, that's what I'll try next! 😊

That's interesting! I have to check it out!
