Just watched the british f4 at knockhill. Love the series, especially because you can get right up to the cars in the paddock and speak to the teams. Would be good to see more cars on the grid!

What if there are more teams wanting to participate than there are spots on the grid? Will they then resort to pre-qualifying or will it be split up in groups?
15 is the minimum age for Formula 4 but there are championships that skirt around this rule letting 14 year olds drive if they turn 15 by the time the season ends.

It really depends on the series in question. Having relevant experience in karting can help but its mostly just getting into contact with teams, academies, or even circuit organisers and asking that way. There's no one way of going about it and it differs for different different teams but it doesn't hurt to reach out and start the conversation.

I see F4 as a category for those who are still young enough to be driving karts but would rather remain seated in case of accidents
Do the CIK FIA karting European/world champs next. It’s basically the F1 of karting

Yes. USF4 cars are usually about $60K USD

What about formula five or formula six those are real entry level Championships not just formula 4!!!
