Simply wonderful. I loved your technique and style of verbal presentation coordinated with the background scenes and music. I also learned much I had never known about the creation of the Nutcracker. Thank you thank you thank you.
Ms. Kaye, thank you so much for all of your Behind The Ballot videos! They are wonderful and full of information and insight. Please keep presenting them. I gain more appreciation and knowledge from each and every one of them. Cheers to you!
As a former dancer who loved and performed many different roles of The Nutcracker over many years, this fantastic video made me tear up a bit. I learned so much I didn't know! Thank you ❤
Ms. Kaye, your commentary, as always, evokes wonderful imagery and imagination in its listeners. It is always such a treat to get the history of a production along with the artistic impressions. Thank you.
I remember as a kid The Nutcracker was the very first ballet I have ever seen and it is still one of my absolute favorite. The studio I dace at is trained in the Balanchine style of dance which is different from when I was younger dancing because I was trained in Royal. We open our Nutcracker in two weeks and Im in the party scene and Drosselmeyer understudy and the makeup artist for Mother Ginger.
The Nutcracker was my intro to ballet, and I've loved it ever since.
I LOVE your version of The Nutcracker, especially "The Waltz Of The Snowflakes". I wish you were still at the Brooklyn Academy Of Music
