I’ve used Cubase and nothing else to sequence music! In that 20 year period I’ve watched countless UA-cam videos on Cubase, but none so infectious, and passionate as yours sir!!! You get through things quickly, but you are 100% understandable and clear!!!! Look forward to more from you in 2025! Fabulous fabulous channel!!!! A happy new year to you! Thanks for your great work!!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
clever approach !! I have used this also with a synth track like bass and use the patterns to give for instance a bass loop randomizing notes and filter cutoff. thanks for the tips!
I just tried this using patterns from EZDrummer 3 and it works. It's not like I need any more MIDI patterns (EZDrummer has gazillions), but it was fun playing with it. Thanks for the new learning, Andrew.
Thank you very much for the midi and pattern event example. That will save me some time with just a couple of key commands now that I know they can work together in different lanes! Saves me from having to duplicate an instrument. Can't wait to try this out with my next session.
Thanks for discovering this. At the end, drums, patterns and score are just different forms of the MIDI editor. I'm pretty sure I've watched a video in which they show how to convert a pattern event into a MIDI event and vice-versa.
hi Eric,, yes its common knowledge that you can convert the MIDI patterns to a standard MIDI part, but so far its not possible to make a standard MIDI part a new MIDI pattern,, I saw Greg Ondo do a good trick with saving the MIDI part and pattern as different track versions, thats a good option too,, but if you can find anyone before the date of this video showing the ability to play and edit both the MIDI part and the new MIDI pattern in the same track just using different lanes as they use the same Drum Machine,,, please, come back here and post a link,, I'd love to see it,,, I'm sure there will be videos on it now that this video has been released,,,, all the best,, andrew
I Hope That The Next Vertion Or Update Lets You Your The Patern Editer Randomizer In The Sapler Track To Rendimize Sample Chops That Would Be Crazy 🔥Nice Video Thanks
The fact that you used only one instance the drum machine to generate so much shows how endless the possibilities are!
Thanks, AB. Great discovery!
thank Quaver, for sharing,, andrew
