Yeah man. Simple songs, simple forms, simple melodies, and simple lyrical messages. That’s it. Great playing and video as always Tim!
Thanks for listening
@@timpierceguitar Hey Tim! Did you get the kikbuckers or regular p-90s in your stepsister?
one Tim Pierce guitar playing a day keeps you smiling all day
That's a beautiful city backdrop.
Having been in Tim's master class for more than 3 years, I have heard Tim repeat the line " I like simple songs" often. This always seemed odd, as the lessons in the class were always challenging and Tim's playing always great. After 7 years playing guitar, I decided to look up the chords to some of my favorite Clapton, Morrison, Stones songs. To my surprise, they were all simple 4-6 chord songs with repeated sections. I could learn 4 or 5 a night. It took this long to finally get what you meant. Excellent job Tim. Thanks for all.
There are just so many progressions out there that make one want to pick up the guitar and start playing, and this is definitely no exception. Always a pleasure to learn and listen here
That is so your style, Tim. I often see you play through one shape and then drop down 2 frets and riff off the same shape again. Always on the middle strings which now makes complete sense. I wondered how you thought while moving from one shape to another and the answer is right here. For me, the mantra going forward for this technique is play the major shape and then drop down 2 for the minor shape. A mix of major and minor - the heart of rock 'n roll. Very cool. Thanks for letting us inside your head, Tim.
Tim Pierce - You, Sir, are a guitar and music genius. May you live long and flourish, and teach guitarists like this. Thank you.
always makes me smile.
Perfect. Thanks Tim.
Once again I am reminded why P 90's are my absolute favorite guitar sound.

Cool... looking forward to creating a backing track to jam over this.. also will check out your course. I need something to take my playing to another level.
Beautiful
Tim and Chris Buck ,taste , tone , touch and a sprinkling of genius, both seem such nice guys, this is how i would love to play, but after 30 years i realise ...I suck, well i can just sit back ,relax and enjoy....
What a tasteful player you are Tim. Outstanding.
Love the B&G!
Great lesson again!
Tim, you’re awesome!
Yup, I had a feeling he was gonna go there: That lovely Emaj to Bminor (also sounds like F#m ) (or Dmaj to Em, or Gmaj to Am), creates a great vibe for a guitar jam - great for writing romantic love ballads, and best of all, gets us out of that 1-4-5 rut !! Switching between the actual 5th minor - adding the occasional 7th tag with your pinky - or just play the 2nd minor - always is lots of fun.
Nursery rhyme (Sweet and pretty)->Agreeive blues->Arpeggios/Chord tones... GOOD to keep hearing this from you....
Tim the ninth wonder of the Guitar world ! This is So enjoyable..thanks
Those pick ups sound so damn good, Tim! Beautiful Tone master.
Love that B & G Guitar!!

Truly dope stuff here bro
Great explanation! That ‘s how I play and practice all my scales, modes between theory. Ton of ways. Yes Sir !
