I actually was looking at my stapler a few months ago and wondered if it could be glittered. Thank for posting this tutorial. Now I know it’s possible. I’m excited to try a new project!!!
@@Adventuresofagingermom Thank you, I was going to start with my small stapler as a test. I can’t get in my craft room yet, it’s holding a bed frame until it stops raining. But I’m excited to get started!
They don’t have this stapler anymore 😕 I ordered an Amazon basics but it doesn’t look like I can get the top off easily. Going to play around with it. This is adorable!
New subbie! I love your little commentary throughout the video. You amuse me! I have received all my materials to make this project. I noticed that you did not paint the staplers, and yet they still turned out quite beautifully. So, my question is why would I add another step if it's unnecessary? Also, did you actually sand them? They still look very smooth. Thanks for your time and sharing this how-to!
First off thank you for the sub!!! I would recommend Sanding them. I didn't paint them because I knew what glitters would cover well. If you use a lighter color painting the base is best
It cures it super fast and smooth! I used to think the same thing then tried it was like Wait whaaaat! It I just an amazingly helpful trick I saw on TIKTOK
I just tried my first stapler and I went to put it together and test it and it exploded lol luckily no staples in it but it was like stuck so I'm saying no to staplers
It will depend on your light and resin but at least 2 90 second cycles. I do that then put in sun light for a bit while I clean up and they are usually good to go
Same here..could you list the item number of the stapler? What I noticed looking at the stapler I got and the ones in the video mine do not have a little “stub” in the back, the ones I got do not pull off. 🤔
@@Adventuresofagingermom Thank you for posting the link! I can't wait to try my first resin craft! Do you have any videos for a first timer that you would recommend?
You just stopped telling your story in the middle of it, what happened when you left what out in behind your thing. What is your thing? What did you leave out. lol
AMAZING!!!!! Thank you for going into detail and explaining. Love the outcome

what is the purpose of dropping in water glass and re-light the glass of water with the uv light?
It cures it super fast and smooth! I used to think the same thing then tried it was like Wait whaaaat! It I just an amazingly helpful trick I saw on TIKTOK
Love these !!! Does the top just pop back on ? I didn’t see that part in the video lol
Yes!!!!

How long under the UV light?
I do about 3 rounds of 90 seconds
Do you not do the bottom part of the stapler?
I usually don't because I like the contrast
I just tried my first stapler and I went to put it together and test it and it exploded lol luckily no staples in it but it was like stuck so I'm saying no to staplers
Did you get get epoxy in the back part?
@@Adventuresofagingermom I dobt think so but I might have and I used uv resin
@@morgancombs7439 hmmm I hope the next one goes better
@@Adventuresofagingermom me too I got excited about it luckily I didn't use alot of supplies
How long do you leave it under the UV light
It will depend on your light and resin but at least 2 90 second cycles. I do that then put in sun light for a bit while I clean up and they are usually good to go

I have a playlist called tumblers and sparkle that may help
How did u do the water
Just place it in the water and turn on the light
Can you also you epoxy? I don't have the uv resin lamp.
Yes!! You just need attach it to your turner
How do you make them look like pens etc
Tape them Off the same way you would the pens to then glitter it to look like a pencil
Can I do this with epoxy resin? Or is it best to use UV resin?
Either! They have stapler adapters on etsy now!! All epoxy will work
Can you do this without taking the top off?
Don't know I have not tried
@@Adventuresofagingermom ok thanks
If you try let me know!!!
