“I died by a bomb must have been behind me” It was in front of you Lol but these videos are really helpful for a rookie like me who wants to try and get a better understanding of rank. Especially when I found out that series helps you rank faster and I been doing open the whole time haha I’m still salty.
That moment was actually super instructive for me, I die to bombs I miss in the heat of battle all the time, it's refreshing to know someone as good as Dude sometimes does the same lol
What I appreciate the most about your videos is showing that you can position yourself as best you can, you can be patient, you can try to capitalize on a situation, but you can't predict everything. Things are so fast paced and you can't win it all, you can only try to position yourself as best you can and learn.
Yo these videos are the real deal. Can’t believe I went throughout Splat2 without knowing this stuff. I feel like I’m getting better already. Thanks so much Dude
From watching you play clam blitz ive realized its much better to stay in a safe position and slowly feed clams into the basket instead of going full diehard and trying to get as many in as possible and dying in the process
Thank you so much, I was losing so much today during rank up from A+ to S. I watched this video, started rank up a couple hours later, and did not lose once. Backing up while shooting, being patient waiting for backup instead of rushing and dying, along with using my camera to see up ahead before I moved helped so much.
4:05, i’ts so funny that you say i didn’t see it, must have been behind me cause i clearly see it 😂, and also i am learning English( to be better at the game too ) with your videos , you’re really helped me a lot so thank you 🙏
It's just a game, don't be afraid to lose. Losing a game gives actually more value than winning it: you have a chance to try to find what you could have done better by watching the replay :)
Started playing the Squeezer about a week and a half ago. This video immediately helped me figure out the final pieces of the puzzle for really controlling zone with this weapon. Thank you ;)
I’m hoping you can make a similar one with short range weapons. I find with the .52 gal that some games I am shredding and others getting absolutely owned. The ones I don’t do well I feel like the rest of my team aren’t on the front lines with me. There is no ink for me to move around in. I find myself inking to try and make some ground for myself but that reveals my position and people come splat me from any angle. So something to address short range would be good dude
I know this is late, but this is a great refresher for me. I've 3 since it came out, unfortunately I had ankle surgery June 7 then last year had a heart attack, so I haven't gotten to play much. I'm getting back into it again. Thanks for these videos ❤
I needed this video so much! Really thank you so much for this!! Was getting a tad bit too aggressive and needed the reminder to make my range work for me! Cheers for this!
I’m using Spalltershot pro a lot more(mostly in rainmaker and Tower Control, I refuse to touch clam blitz with a 10in pole) and this is helping me a lot with how over aggressive and cocky I can get sometimes
I found the last video of the series was all over the place and hard to follow (due to being just narration over random gameplay). But this one is much more focused and educating. Looking forward to more!
From what I learned, you really need to shoot it through someone. The hitbox at the front of the projectile seems to do absolutely nothing. Sometimes it does 40 damage.
be careful though he is using the squeezer which is much more aggressive and plays a bit upfront. Bow has to charge and take advantage of its explosions and range so don’t always put yourself in the same spots dudes in
@@zsDUGGZ Yes i play explosher that’s exactly what you should do. I think the title is a little misleading because squeezer is a much more aggressive long range weapon compared to charger i don’t want people to play e liter like this for example
Video idea prob a short: explain the differences between aktive and passive specials like ink vac where u r activly using it or shield where u passivly use it
I think you could change your wording a bit, instead of "if you're a long range weapon you should walk backwards in fights" it should be "if you have more range than the weapon you are fighting, you should walk backwards." Even though a splattershot is far from being a long range weapon, it still should walk backwards if it is fighting a sploosh or brush.
Variations of ranges of weapons create somewhat of a unique interaction among other ranges. Short range weapons try to get close to fight or distract. But they get outranged by a lot of weapons. Mid range weapons create support necessary to take control or deal damage. But they can't take out enemies as easily as other ranges. Long range weapons create good defense and good damage at range. But getting too close gets you killed.
I desperately want to learn the squeezer but I’ve been having so much trouble with it. My opponents always seem to out smart me, I hope the information I learn from this will help.
It’s crazy, he’s so aware of everything. How many opponents are nearby, where they are, and what weapon they’re using. Even during gameplay he’s aware of how many have been splatted and the best time to push forward. I guess that’s what thousands of hours in a game can give you
I don’t know positioning and all that crap. I’m not very competitive at all. I just go where I can take out the enemy easily without dying while they can’t do the same and it works ok. Explosher and eliter is great for that. But they’re slow so I have to back out to keep out of their range. So I’m ok at the game. I’m probably as good as a casual player can get without studying the video game and becoming a competitive player
Question. Isnt squeezer technically a midranged weapon? I accidently thought clicking on this vid i was gonna watch backline positioning. Either way, the vis did help with some positioning nonetheless :>
4:02 Staring at bomb. Dies. “It must’ve been behind me.”
Honestly I feel so much better about dying to bombs behind me when I see that even a pro sometimes dies in dumber ways lol
Bombs have weird ranges in this game, if he wasn't in squid form he probably would have survived that.
@@harmless9336 I've died to so many bombs at full health, when I was confident I was far enough away.
@@harmless9336 nah, suction bomb's range is bonkers, that range kills no matter what
