- Surrounded by law enforcement officers at a news conference Thursday in Tampa, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced the suspension of State Attorney Andrew Warren.
Warren had served the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit.
Speaking at the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, DeSantis said Warren violated his oath of office and picked and chose the types of laws he enforced.

Warren did not violate any oath. He did not rule on any cases re: prohibiting gender-affirming care for minors or laws limiting abortion. In fact, none had never come before him. Florida has no such gender-affirming law for him to consider. DeSantis suspended Warren only because Warren's a Democrat and has publicly criticized DeSantis. This is another vast overreach by Ronnie and is blatantly unconstitutional.

Quit letting gov pick and choose who it enforces the law on. Quit letting gov only enforce the law on non gov while not enforcing it on gov, letting gov get away with things they dont let non gov get away with.
Quit refusing to enforce the constitution. Imprison gov members conspiraring or attempting to commit the crime of violating 2a and not treating everyone equally under the law. Charge gov members that want gun bans with perjury for breaking their oath and ban them from gov jobs.

I was in Seattle the last year and so many officers have complained about multi offenders coming right back out on the streets doing the SAME crime and even worse. I saw this very thing in the year I was there. Its sickening! It MUST stop and thank you RD for doing the right thing in Fla.
One of the reasons why I relocated and left Seattle the rise in crime and taking legal authority away from officers, Seattle has gone to hell in the last 30 years. I have friends and family that did the same thing and just left.
