I got Fallout 76 when it first came out. Quit after a couple weeks. Tried it again last year. I'd actually put it in my top 5 most recommended multi-player games. I understand why people don't like it, and I realize it's not for everyone. If you're looking for a Fallout 4 experience with a heavy focus on story, you likely won't find Fallout 76 satisfying. They took a single-player formula and tried to make it a multi-player game. It can feel a bit clunky at times. But it can be immensely fun.
Bethesda had years to add enough quality quests and multiple plots that move you in multiple direction and maybe even make you choose fractions and split up the map. So how come it is still lack luster, compared to Fallout 4 lack luster story? I have to at least add 300/400 mods to make it somewhat playable compared to the quality of New Vegas and at least 200 to bring the quality from Fallout 3. To push the game to feel a true successor of Fallout New Vegas and is truly next gen, you need 1000+ mods. 😂
@@DjLuCKyCHaRM You need to watch the video "Fallout 76 is more than a game it's a pilgrimage". 76 is online, the other fallouts weren't. Due to this, things are different. I think some people forget this.
As someone who doesn't really have fun with other people I enjoyed the game. I liked the small interactions with people, playing campaign like I would another fallout game. The multilayer aspect was just an addition and not the primary reason. But if you buy the game looking to have fun with others, but having no current friends then j can see how that might disappoint
I understand completely about feeling overwhelmed at the beginning (I just started playing last week), and you are correct in saying that the game is significantly better when playing with friends. My play group is 5 people, and we have had a hard time finding games we can all play together (since most games are locked to 4 players on a team). Yes, we cannot all be on the same team, but we can all be in the same server and run around doing stupid things together!
I mean the whole thing looks pretty fun. I recently went back to Skyrim and it’s just fun, not smooth, not a good story. Just killing shit, looting and crafting. I just feel like a lot of people want to hate on it, regardless of how fun it is. As for all the New Vegas comments, yes an absolutely epic game. My latest play though however I couldn’t get over how slow you move. It was game breaking for me
6:30 I think you're mixing up FPS with latency/lag caused by the game's networking itself. The combat doesn't feel choppy or weird because of uneven frametimes/framerates - rather cause of every little action you do (attack connects included) inevitably having a small delay before it actually registers. Pay closer attention and you'll always notice that it takes juuuust a small while before an enemy really dies, even if you oneshot them and most enemies performing an awkward dying animation rather than ragdolling makes it feel even stiffer. This problem is spread all over the game like looting and just interacting with anything really. Below is my experience with F76 compared to F4: I played Fallout 76 for about 2 years since it launched and this issue never truly got remedied sadly. As soon as I got back to Fallout 4 it was like playing a game of a completely different quality level. It just feels so buttery smooth in comparison, every action is instantaneous, the foliage reacts dynamically to your movement, there's Nvidia Flex physics for debris particles when you shoot your weapons on different surfaces. The lighting is objectively better, volumetrics especially with godrays and fog so smoothly bleeding throughout all environments. Hitting and getting hit has no delay and no iffy hitboxes which sometimes get bigger or smaller for no clear reason (*ahem*... Fo76...). Became clear to me that the idea of having a typical Bethesda game in a persistently online world only works on paper currently. There's so much of the smaller stuff that make up these games and you'd somehow have to track and continuously sync for all players it's theoretically not possible to do as well as you'd do (on a quality level) on a single-player game. There's simply too much delay, even if it's like 1/10th of a second it just takes you out the more you play it. One of the core pillars of these sandbox games is immersion and with the networking we have today, it's just not possible to do on the same level you'd do by not having to factor in online play.
I seen Fallout 76 was free to install in my prime gaming and I installed. I’m a simple guy with simple needs. I had never played Fallout series before. This is my first time. I’m not gonna lie I did hear about it when it came out but I wasn’t interested. I was too involved with MK XL and BO3 Zombies lol and being the life of the party in college 😂 but now that I started playing it, it’s pretty dope. Idc about the graphics or the mindless gameplay. It’s a few yrs old game so I’m not gonna complain. Other than that I’m into it and imma continue playing. It’s entertaining.
I also just started playing this game and while I do have my little nit-pick (the CC for one) so far I am enjoying it... and I am playing solo. I plan to play with a friend of mine as soon as he is able to get it but until then, I am enjoying it. As far as the graphics, I have to disagree with you. I am playing on xbox one so that may be a difference but I was so impressed with the environment and I was busy admiring the way the sun was shimmering through the trees that I barely noticed the gouls coming up behind me lol. I also have been to Virgina and West Virgina many times so I was comparing how much they actually captured of the the beautiful landscape of that state and I was impressed by it. It's one of the things I love about Fallout 4 though. I live in MA and have been to Boston so many times. I love that City so walking through post-apocolypic Boston was such a treat. I'm weird that way though I guess with the things that impress me in a video game 😄
At the end of the video you said it wasn't fun alone. they have public teams for a reason plus it gets better when you start working on the vault raid and start getting legendaries. It doest really come together though until about lvl 50 when you will have access to use any weapons armor and perk cards. For perspective time a lvl 489 and still love doing events and trying to get better gear.
the time i spent on it with friends is what made it fun for sure and it wasn't great at launch for sure, but they have been cooking with free added content. still remember helping the brotherhood of steel when they first showed an appearance near the ski resort and then like the community mission that went along with it that helped them move into that base. Dying light does something similar and ngl its fun. brings the community together. I've played hours on end when i got fallout 2, 3, 4, and New Vegas so i understand the frustration with some on the fact of how Vats work. after binging the show though it really made me want to challenge myself on 76 without using it on a fresh start. Just for the fact they don't have it and for the fact that you really don't need it for a melee focused build. low key is fun though. Yet i think Bethesda's idea behind this game was to just really have people come together. seeing what other people can build as homes will always be my favorite part about this game. the little trinkets you can save up from challenges as well is so cool. i remember on my PS4 playing it for the first time as well when i saved enough atomic points to buy the mini deathclaw & the nuclear bomb lamp. trying to build a welcoming home to return to is key in my book for 76 and it takes time. it pays off. feels good. once you get to that point. that's where it's at for me. and one last thing i gotta mention is that it's just an unwritten law of the wasteland is that when you are adventuring with friends and Beach Boys comes on you gotta sing along with the boys.
I treat this game like an exploration experience personally. Not a huge multiplayer person as my time is limited but the exploration is pretty enjoyable.
You can unlock the fps by going to documents, my games, find the game then edit the pref config ini, after that look for iprefinterval something like that. This will be set to 1 by default and change it to 0, fps will be unlock. Nvidia control panel and lock the game to your monitor fps for a better stable fps.
People coming to Fallout 76 thinking its going to be a follow-on from Fallout 4 will always hate it. The exact same thing happened with ESO when that released people thinking it was going to be "Online Skyrim". They're not meant to be the same, review the game as its own thing.
I started after the update that added story and npc. It was fun. I enjoyed it. It just sucks i didnt had friend to play it. It also suck that there was legacy legendaries that broke the game. Thats why i was mainly soloing it. To avoid the cheeze. But discovering all the clues and the story of the world was fun! I really loved it. If you pay attention, they will bring you arpund the map, discover cities, side quest, and inlock "end game". It was well done. And having multiple camps was a huge upgrade. You can set up MANY camps around the world. If you are clever and imaginative, you can set up small camps like if you were trekking criss country. I had a raider "city camp" with multiple bedding, i had a military camp, i side a crashed bomber, i had a moo shiner hidden camp, in the swamp, it really was cool. I loved it. Would i play it again? Yes, with a friend. Ut once you have beaten the last boss...its over. Doing tye world map events that pop up really sucks. They are easy, and monsters die so quickly you have a hard time "tagging" them for xp and loot. But it was nice to play fallout with other people.
Those "LEgacy LEgendaries " where deleted long ago afaik , as for the events try grp up during the event or get a tesla weap if u for some reason dont want to grp up

Hey guys, these are the kinds of people that you shouldn’t listen to when it comes to gaming. Period. When the majority says yes. It’s fun now. Try it again. There’s always 10% or less of people like this who will deter you because they originally hated it.
Look of you're scrolling and you see this, go by your own experience. I honestly enjoyed the game, I liked the concept of an online fallout world, despite it having bugs(all games have bugs now days get over it) and the rough start. It's better with friends, just putting that out there, all online games are but this game in particular NEEDS online. The lonely feel sets in immediately once you reach the first town. I loved this game and will always be down to play until the next fallout.
I disagree with the watered down VATS system. I'd say most people are just expecting different. I agree up to a certain degree though, the realtime VATS is not that good for low level players because of the lack of AP. It's just weird to have your AP depleted so fast, especially with automatics. But it should be fine with non-auto weapons. However in the endgame, the 76 VATS system is way more satisfying, especially when you can do criticals very often. Back to Fallout 4 I hoped there's a mod to change 4's VATS to 76's style VATS, but there is not.
Well I have only bought this game 4 weeks ago and I am loving it ,there is a gem here and having no chat box really don't help but still I am having a blast
Ever see what has become of the chat in WoW...it's a spam fest and if it was in fallout it would have definitely broke peoples immersion...we at least have a mic to talk if needed or emotes
@@eldonb5131 I have never played WoW but from what I heard you are correct , But I have played ESO for years and zone chat is monitored and is normally quite helpful.
As a person who loved fallout 4 and 4 was my first FO games, Played 76 last year on series x for about 4 hrs and never picked it up again just played FO4 for a bit
As someone who has never played Fallout until the TV Show came out, it’s fun! Just confused on what to do and where to go but slowly finding my way has been fun! Eating and drinking is a little annoying but hey, that’s literally life! So far fun game! Plus I wanna play all in timeline order.
For me, I can only have fun with it when I unplug my brain for a bit. Running around doing whatever happens to pop up is pretty fun even while alone. Don't think too hard about the world around you, and you'll have a pretty good time to just kick back and relax for a bit. I wonder how the game would've turned out if Wastelanders was in from the start though, I can imagine I'll be playing this game for a while.
7:33 fallout 76 can be modded without breaking TOS in fact most of the content creators in the space have their game modded. And there is a similar FPS unlocking mod akin to the one for fallout 4 that you mentioned. Bethesda monitors the Nexus page for fallout 76 pretty heavily. So anything that's been up on nexus for awhile is okay to use.
When I heard about 76 I thought it would be the answer to the feeling I get in fallout 4 within 40 hours into the game when you just want a friend and at the launch it was a disaster but right now game feels pretty fun and enjoyable
Ill say it how it is. Is like "meh", you can have a good time by yourself or a fun time with your friends if you keep playing, is a long game, it has replayability if you like farming and having the best stuff. It has some nasty bugs that havent been fixed like the power armor one or softlocking missions but hey, FNV crashes every 10 minutes without mods that fixes it problems, aswel F3. I would say, yes, is worth it in the current state, yeah, back when it first came out, hell na, but today? Yea, give it a try, is like "a better fallout 4" sorta?. Give it a try, is like Andromeda, it was shit on release, now is pretty good
I bought it when it came out, when they promised mods and the ability to play it solo locally. I played it for awhile then decided not to come back when the only way to solve some of my most major annoyances with the game was to pay each month for features my full cost game didn't have.
After having years of returning to FO4 and never once touched 76. For the past 1 week after I got it for 10 bucks on steam. I can say I'm enjoying it more than I did in starfield, not gonna lie.
This was a very well-made and insightful video. Thank you for helping folks understand the state of Fallout 76 these days! You just earned another subscriber.
Thank you VERY much for this video. The fact that you describe yourself as a solo player even when playing online games resonates with me. Thank you for adding that with this perspective 76 is ***at best*** just more Fallout 4 but not as good. I have many other options for game play/wasting my time and knowing that I am not missing anything by not playing 76 is valuable information. Peaceful Skies.
Its actually worth it. It's fallout 4 survival mechanics mixed in with new vegas's with having to repair your weapons. The radio has one of the best music selections, and the quests can get pretty dark. Fallout 76's horror aspect is what caught me off guard the most. Not to mention, the map is massive and heavily detailed with plenty of buildings you can go into and loot.
I think 76s map is the best one in the series, it’s surprisingly detailed given how large it is. I prefer it to fallout 4 but can understand why it’s not for every fallout fan. I highly recommended trying it for yourself
If as a solo player… it can be incredibly fun still🎉. If you like survival games but without the pvp, or playing by yourself in a multiplayer game like this… fallout 76 is very fun.
The game being always in realtime definitely makes the combat feel a bit less epic since it's not as cinematic but at the same time MORE quick and intense at times. 4's better though for sure in terms of being a fallout game and all of what most people expect from that. But hey if you have 1000 hours in 4 and are ready to move on to more fallout and have friends then for sure.
I bought a Windows key on PC for less than $2 a month ago and it was actually a good game overall but not very good in terms of being an actual Fallout game. Doesn't feel like much of an RPG as you don't have as much free will to do whatever you want with different factions like New Vegas and it feels like you're fighting the same enemies over and over. Feels like I mostly fought miners, ghouls, super mutants and scorched with bits of different animal and human enemies.
100% agree with this! I have all of the other fallouts and have probably thousands of hours of combined playtime on them, but I just can't seem to get invested in 76. I'm also a solo player though, so that might be why. I much prefer to play New Vegas or Fallout 4 when I get the hankering to wander the wastelands these days.
Definitely fun playing solo. But since it’s online multiplayer, some areas may seem dead because another player went through there and killed everything or looted everything.
I played it at launch with friends and had a blast. Exploring the world, killing mole miners, running from giant bats, laughing at my friends who could not run from said giant bat. It was fun.
Tried it not long after release and thought it was shit. But got to admit, I've started up a new character a couple days ago and I'm quite enjoying it. I can definitely see why lots of folks still don't enjoy it though. I'll probably max out one character and come back for DLC's, once I reach that point.
I got a game code for steam for 6$about 2 years ago. It was fun to play fallout with my best friend. I stopped after Nuka World because I was busy with other things and just downloaded it again. They have added an awful lot of free content for the 6 bucks I paid. It is 100% worth it. Nobody can tell me there isnt 6 dollars worth of fun in this game. AT the moment it costs 8$ on a steam sale. You cant even see a two hour movie for 8$, I played this for 239 hours. Yes there are better online shooter looter games I suppose. But I dont want to play call of duty. I want to play in the quirky retro post nuclear world of fallout.
If you are wanting Fallout, just wait a few days for 'Fallout London', a full fan made game on top of Fallout 4. Watch the trailers, looks great. I'm actually hyped to play it. Apr 23, 2024 release.
@@Sagnamenn Dang it. Thanks for the update. At least the delay wasn't due to the Fallout London folk, and hopefully it is not a very long delay that is incurred by having to adjust/test against the Fallout 4 update.
a few mentions: F76 indeed has mostly boring quests but it has a LOT of them, F76 has a problem with constantly repeating number of events which could be fun for a couple of runs but they become a boring repetative thing very soon, and the greatest problem F76 has imo is the autolevel system and bulletsponge enemies
I tried to play Fallout 76 with the free trial they have going on, played for like 4 hours and was pretty sick with motion sickness, the game threw me off pretty quick by how bad it feels to play it, the game says it's running at 60 fps but I feel like I'm playing at 24 fps, the game has some good stuff but if it gives me headaches everytime I play this game then I'm not going to play it.
I had a similar issue, but turns out that's just another bug (surprise!) with the vsync.. if you set "iPresentInterval" to zero in the Fallout76Prefs.ini file the fps is unlocked It does introduce tearing but I'm now at a steady 120fps and smooth as butter
Just got a 4060 and 7800x3d and I'm not experiencing anything you're saying...runs great for me. should be mentioned user reports say this game works better on Nvidia cards. I've also read and expierienced how the 7800 x3d core layout really helps over other cpus
@@eldonb5131 I have an rtx 3070 with an amd ryzen 5600x, I think that's good enough to run the game at 60 fps, I have every driver up to date, too I think this problem it's one of those that happens to some people but not everyone.
I don't know if it's just my pc, but FO76's performance for me is terrible. I'm playing on low and it takes a few seconds for enemies to be damaged after the bullets hit, framerates drop randomly and it's just not satisfying. It's weird cause my pc handled Death Stranding and Fallen Order quite well. I heard it got better after launch, but I think it's still pretty poorly optimized.
If a person likes the fallout lore, Fallout 76 is very fun especially if you wanted to play in a world with other people to any varying degree. The game is fun until you figure out every aspect of the game... Then it gets stale. But then it can become funner if you have a friend that becomes interested, then you can help them… but don’t spoil them. Btw, fallout 76 is not an mmo. There is zero mmo elements in the game. 24 players in a lobby is not an mmo. I catch so many people saying this… and I don’t under it.
I had smooth gameplay with my 2070, 3070ti and now my rx 6800 so not sure what you are talking about there. As for VATS, in a real time online game it's impossible to slow time down because there are other players on the server and only you would be slowed down. On a side note, it looks like you didn't get very far in the game. Not the best foundation for a Fallout 76 review video.
I gave it a 3rd try after watching the new tv show, for some reason it clicked, yes its not as good as fallout 4 but its good enough for me and im solo player, i think if you have game pass to try it go for it
This game is definitely worth it the community is amazing. If anybody is wondering if the game is good now i would recommend a more viable and opened minded channel to look at to get a genuine review of the game so you can make a choice. This review is pretty biased because the persom is definitely stuck in the past.
Idk if this is exactly worth those $40 for this game bc prior experiences it was bad for me for Fallout 4 and then this got the bad launch, idk if should give Fallout 76 a second chance and just pay the $40 out anyways or not?
Max payne 3 managed to make bullet time work in their multiplayer, so they could do. It was just an area around you that would slow down when activating bullet time, so if anyone was caught in the area they’d slow down too. For a game like this, shooting from further distances, a line of sight would be a good idea, like you said. I wonder if trolls would then just get you in their line of sight, to slow you down and possibly get you killed by something else 😂
@@EastyyBlogspot yeah man, that would be sweet. We can hope! Lol. Only recently started playing 76, but enjoying the more relaxing gameplay and just exploring. Loved settlement building in 4, so i look forward to starting work on my camp! Love the world/aesthetics of fallout, so having such a large area to explore, and having a photomode to take shots too, has been great!
@7:55 Your CPU is a frankenstein monster that should never have been made and gets outclassed by its own "lesser" variant, the 7800x3d due to an uneven distribution of the 3d v cache per core on the 7950x3d. Your 1% lows and unever frames would be mostly solved if you replaced this (shit game notwithstanding). This is a feature of your build, bad game optimization only exacerbates the problem to where you're noticing it.
This analysis is pretty accurate although I will add a couple things as someone who played it fairly consistently for years. The whole fun of the game is playing with other people and it’s easy to make friends with new people in game. Once you make an actual build designed around VATS, it’s even more satisfying than in standard Fallout titles since it’s really fast paced and you’re not just pausing the game. The way online trading on Reddit/Facebook and the in game trading through player-run vendors are where a lot of the real end game fun is at. Even with all that and having had periods with extensive enjoyment of this game, there’s mostly just not enough content coming out for this game for it to not get stale.
I play Bungie games on XSX and PS5 which I consider to have the best feel of any shooters on earth so unmodded Fallout 4 levels of feel with no VATS is too dire. I can feel every bit of the laziness and every lack of layered systems like hugely varying levels of bullet magnetism depending on which weapon you’re using, hugely differing levels of reticle friction, hugely differing verticle and horizontal muzzle direction, hugely varying bullet magnetism cone angles and lengths depending on the hugely variable damage drop off stats and how all of these things are changed depending on which weapon archetype you’re using, which class of archetype, what mods or perks you have on the gun and all over your armour and in your subclass builds and what buffs and debuffs are affecting you. To go from these brilliantly implemented systems to various bullet spread patterns and not much else feels like getting out of a Lexus and getting in to a 125 year old Model A Ford. No one puts more in to these systems than Bungie and no one puts in less than Bethesda and that GIGANTIC difference in feel highlights the difference in developer skill level and care factor. When I play 76, I feel exactly like I’m playing a game made by the least talented AAA devs and combined with this cardboard feel are the cardboard graphics. Like looking at a statue carved from marble by a Roman Master craftsman next to something a child made from play-dough. But they’re adults so what’s their excuse? 76 is garbage made by people who couldn’t possibly give a hoot.
4:04 ok so those events aren't particularly for newer players for getting good items yes for fun mehhhhhhhh i don't know those are really for the higher level players who have the finished all the quests (mostly) edit:man really you think vats being slowed down is going to be easy for an online game really man
Fallout 76 is one of the games of all time, for sure.

But 76 is abandonware almost
Yeah but…..it still just kinda sucks. It’s arguably the worst fallout game, aside from the spinoff titles.
It's fun with friends but gets boring fast if you have no friends, in my opinion
i played 4 months solo , the Events in this game is King , and if u want to go next lvl try to Learn how to Launch a Nuke and where
That means your friend makes it fun, not the game.
Play for the story, I played fallout 4 and 76 still
Lots of fall out fans have no friends lol
As someone who doesn't really have fun with other people I enjoyed the game. I liked the small interactions with people, playing campaign like I would another fallout game. The multilayer aspect was just an addition and not the primary reason. But if you buy the game looking to have fun with others, but having no current friends then j can see how that might disappoint
Its a pretty nice mindless fun game
I’ve played since the demo, had fallout 1st and enjoy getting many things for my camp. I’ve enjoyed it for years together or alone.
How much money have you spent?
It was game breaking for me
6:30
I think you're mixing up FPS with latency/lag caused by the game's networking itself.
Below is my experience with F76 compared to F4:
I played Fallout 76 for about 2 years since it launched and this issue never truly got remedied sadly.
Short answer:yes
Long answer: yes
Its on sale for 10$ right now. If you can buy it while on sale do it.
It’s free if you have Amazon prime via Amazon prime gaming
the time i spent on it with friends is what made it fun for sure and it wasn't great at launch for sure, but they have been cooking with free added content. still remember helping the brotherhood of steel when they first showed an appearance near the ski resort and then like the community mission that went along with it that helped them move into that base.
Thanks!
I only used the invidia control panel and it worked
Those "LEgacy LEgendaries " where deleted long ago afaik , as for the events try grp up during the event or get a tesla weap if u for some reason dont want to grp up
Legacy weapons are no more, my friend 😊
@@nickangeles8898 They waited too long, until I was no more my friend! Lol
But good on them for removing them. I hope newer player are enjoying themselves!
I always come back to 76 every few months and its so much fun for me
you can unlock the fps limit too... 6 years later, it's still hard to get into todd howard's vision for this game...
Hey guys, these are the kinds of people that you shouldn’t listen to when it comes to gaming. Period. When the majority says yes. It’s fun now. Try it again. There’s always 10% or less of people like this who will deter you because they originally hated it.
This in my opinion, is the type of person to listen to. He is coming in as a fresh, unbiased type.
Echo Chambers ain't a good thing mate, the best thing ti do is to listen to both points..
@@eldonb5131 pretty much every game is a spam fest. I Need a break from it so I think I wont mind as much on this one.
Give it a try, is like Andromeda, it was shit on release, now is pretty good
Farming is replayability to you? Really
@@santbot nope but for many, yes, thats why game like Stardew Vallet, Animal Ctossing, WoW are famous and played a lot.
The super sale they have going for the whole franchise is the only reason I finally got this game to try out :'D
Yeah pretty sure since it’s over it’s even harder for me to get into the game I even refuse to go back to Fallout 4 even though I got it for free
It’s worth it if u have az prime it’s free till may 15
I bought it when it came out, when they promised mods and the ability to play it solo locally. I played it for awhile then decided not to come back when the only way to solve some of my most major annoyances with the game was to pay each month for features my full cost game didn't have.
If you never played it then i would say yes. Tons of content they added but when your at the end game, thats it and it goes back to being boring.
Feels like I mostly fought miners, ghouls, super mutants and scorched with bits of different animal and human enemies.
tried 3 years ago, now re try it and its amazing
Fallout 76 is like Sam Raimi's Spiderman 3. You can't tell me I'm wrong.
I love spiderman 3
@@idwiw172yikes
100% agree with this! I have all of the other fallouts and have probably thousands of hours of combined playtime on them, but I just can't seem to get invested in 76. I'm also a solo player though, so that might be why. I much prefer to play New Vegas or Fallout 4 when I get the hankering to wander the wastelands these days.
I play 76 solo and enjoyed it and now play with teams
Definitely fun playing solo. But since it’s online multiplayer, some areas may seem dead because another player went through there and killed everything or looted everything.
I played it at launch with friends and had a blast. Exploring the world, killing mole miners, running from giant bats, laughing at my friends who could not run from said giant bat. It was fun.
Thanks for the video, this was exactly what I was looking for!
Tried it not long after release and thought it was shit. But got to admit, I've started up a new character a couple days ago and I'm quite enjoying it.
I can definitely see why lots of folks still don't enjoy it though. I'll probably max out one character and come back for DLC's, once I reach that point.
Skyrim is the true Bethesda game to rule them all
I got a game code for steam for 6$about 2 years ago.
Loved F3 / F4 / F76 knowing they weren’t the best at times but still enjoyed them
As an owner of an old GPU,
Yes, it is worth it. My GTX 1070 now has very few playable games.
I disagree, 3000 hours and still love it, cheers 😊
If you are wanting Fallout, just wait a few days for 'Fallout London', a full fan made game on top of Fallout 4. Watch the trailers, looks great. I'm actually hyped to play it. Apr 23, 2024 release.
It is put on hold indefinitely because of the next gen update for Fallout 4
@@Sagnamenn Dang it. Thanks for the update. At least the delay wasn't due to the Fallout London folk, and hopefully it is not a very long delay that is incurred by having to adjust/test against the Fallout 4 update.
As you play the game you unlock body part targeting but still no slo mo that I know of.
no. i started it early year before the amazon show made everyone talk about it and no it's not worth it unless absolutely nothing else to play
a few mentions: F76 indeed has mostly boring quests but it has a LOT of them, F76 has a problem with constantly repeating number of events which could be fun for a couple of runs but they become a boring repetative thing very soon, and the greatest problem F76 has imo is the autolevel system and bulletsponge enemies
You aren’t geared correctly if you have bullet sponge enemies (besides the “boss” enemies)
Short answer: Yes
I tried to play Fallout 76 with the free trial they have going on, played for like 4 hours and was pretty sick with motion sickness, the game threw me off pretty quick by how bad it feels to play it, the game says it's running at 60 fps but I feel like I'm playing at 24 fps, the game has some good stuff but if it gives me headaches everytime I play this game then I'm not going to play it.
you have to change a setting in the .ini files to fix this fps issue, there’s a ton of videos online for it
I had a similar issue, but turns out that's just another bug (surprise!) with the vsync.. if you set "iPresentInterval" to zero in the Fallout76Prefs.ini file the fps is unlocked
It does introduce tearing but I'm now at a steady 120fps and smooth as butter

Its currently Free on prime gaming. It exists to sell the Pass though. Dont pay for it. Just enjoy the nostalgia for free.
It’s free on prime gaming right now for PC and Xbox. Worth it for free I think
Bro this AFK Journey game with the kid saying “IT FINALLY CAME” has truly drove me insane.

I don't know. I was more attached to my dad in Fallout 3 than to my child in Fallout 4. I just really didn't want to look for it.
Yes ... if you love crafting, building, exploring.
This game is definitely worth it the community is amazing. If anybody is wondering if the game is good now i would recommend a more viable and opened minded channel to look at to get a genuine review of the game so you can make a choice. This review is pretty biased because the persom is definitely stuck in the past.
I love new Vegas honestly the only game I like in fallout series but 76 is alr if you got some homies.
Idk if this is exactly worth those $40 for this game bc prior experiences it was bad for me for Fallout 4 and then this got the bad launch, idk if should give Fallout 76 a second chance and just pay the $40 out anyways or not?
I wonder if vats slomo could have worked perhaps with a bubble around u or line of sight corridor etc
@EubyGamingRES perhaps with pve servers bullet time only affects enemies rather than other players
@@EastyyBlogspot yeah man, that would be sweet. We can hope! Lol. Only recently started playing 76, but enjoying the more relaxing gameplay and just exploring. Fallout 76 you hate it and love it at the same time.
You can uncap the FPS on PC in the .ini like 4 but you have to cap it to your refresh rate or it breaks
Your explanation of the game is basically what Bethesda is.
I thought hey ill try it after all these years, and then I tried to play it and it crashed twice without even letting me on, how exciting.
I have it for free on ps5. Ive conpleted all thr previous games but its sooo hard to get into this...
Its currently free on amazon prime gaming
Its also 7.99 on steam. So at the very least it's worth THAT.
P.S. I loved your video and heartily agree🤓. (Just had to shake off the passion!)
I got it for free from amazon, haven't tried it yet tough, don't know if I will
Most of these are things i have heard about fallout for (other then the v.a.t.s system thing)
To be honest your judging it too harshly, perhaps go back to your other games?
4:04 ok so those events aren't particularly for newer players for getting good items yes for fun mehhhhhhhh i don't know those are really for the higher level players who have the finished all the quests (mostly)
edit:man really you think vats being slowed down is going to be easy for an online game really man
in my opinion
The game is 7.99$ on the Xbox store might get it but I'm kinda a solo player
You still can have fun by yourself but playing with others makes it just that much better.
