The walk in the forest park, the garden in the Manchurian Palace Museum, and above all the rain, bring to mind summertime in China. I plan to visit China again soon, after a nearly 4-year hiatus, but not before this fall. So I can only experience the Chinese summer with the help of a bit of poetry: 鸟飞荷露泻，茉莉晚吹凉。隐隐雷声动，潇潇雨未央。

According to the official page, the total area of the park is 96㎞², so it is not surprising to walk alone

Good afternoon Max! The building in this city reminds me of modern Japanese style buildings in Japan a bit! But most of all I really liked Hill Mall, which is not ordinary inside, as if in a city within a city, the surroundings are very beautiful in different styles, perhaps this is the most unusual supermarket in China. The museum is simply gorgeous and such a big one is popular with Chinese tourists, worth a visit! Thanks for the tour, I really enjoyed it!
The Northeastern provinces are suppose to be in economic decline, known as the rust belt of China. Changchun looks just the opposite, rich and beautiful. Great work Max.
Actually, it is propaganda from southern media. Why they have been doing that? I don't know. From my perspective, living in Changchun is happy. Cool and sunny summer, white winter low prices, no super-high buildings and many parks to take a walk.

Changchun is like any big city. It has it's beautiful parts, and it's dirty, old and broken down parts. I think this gives the city loads of character. But what matters most is how amazing the city and culture is.
Interesting experimentation with color toning. The effects are not unlike those seen in Van Gogh's "Fishing Boats on the Beach at Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer": a bit two-dimensional, with a sense of calmness to it. A bit dreamlike in certain places.
Changchun is the capital and largest city of Jilin Province in China. The name of the city means "long spring" in Chinese. Thank's for your video, a person born in Changchun and working in Shenzhen welcomes you come to Changchun again.
China looks great from here so much land and so much opportunity. In addition y'all have really good material resource suppliers at the corporate financial levels I have seen some of y'all inventions, some of the very best on Earth and politically for sure.
Incredibly monochromatic which is unplanned....lots of neutral colours and for some reason Orange with elements of blue. extremely pleasing unplanned colour palette the first part of the walk. The populace is very well dressed and seem to prefer minimalist monochrome colours (Some elements of the older generation of course more naturally dated. but its got such a "Bladerunner" vibe and in a positive clean way, not the dystopian hollywood chinatownish/Japanesee mish mash of the 80s If people aren't watching China, they are missing the Future Now. The place is incredible. The vibe and the obvious ideas, design elements flowing through all over. The energy and dynamism is clearly in China. Simply incredible how quick it advances in China. The lifestyle looks like its getting better and better, beats many first world countries these days.

Wow, I usually hate malls, where I'm from they're dated, sterile and boring. The Hill Mall is the complete opposite, it isn't about maximizing profit per square inch, the designers have understood they needed to create an experience, a place where you want to spend time in (and your money). It's like a little town, full of character and variety, amazing work!
malls in most asian countries are still thriving due to community events and proximity to a lot of people - China, Thailand, South Korea, Vietnam, Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia
Second part of tour was a bit creepy for me. Never liked these sort of places. 19th century palaces in rain looks like good setting for a horror film honestly... But the first part through the city was mind blowing. Also the train was incredibly tastefully done, neutral colour palette none of the over gaudy mish mash of colours I see sometimes in places like Singapore. Its just so surprisingly pleasing to the eyes.

一般不喜欢看购物中心的视频，但希尔购物中心令人印象深刻，完全不同于国内其他城市的购物中心，从装修风格到动线布置，都别具一格，极具中国风，又有点赛博朋克的味道，很喜欢！长春去过几次，感觉长春要取代沈阳的地位了，辽宁尽管也是老工业基地，但现在已经有点没落，没有像一汽、长春中车这样的企业，也没有像光学和卫星研发科研机构。
