I totally remember when this happened too! What a test of the human spirit and survival. I'm not sure if I could bring myself to read this or watch the movie as, like you said, it's too real, but I appreciate your thoughts! I really enjoy this Adaptation series so looking forward to more! Also that opening scene with the popcorn looks so good,. :D

Never go hiking w/o telling anyone !! Both read and watched. Enjoyed both but maybe the movie a little bit more just cause it made it seem more real and I kept wondering what I’d do😬
