- Mostafa ElMaghraby, PhD student in the Brennecke Lab, explains how the cell rewires RNA export to protect genome integrity. Recent findings that were published in the journal Cell show how a small RNA pathway utilizes and re-purposes preexisting building blocks in the cell to protect against genome-parasites.
