2.0 and HHP have gotten me into the game in a new way entirely, because I can carry out the ideas I have been having without having to come up with illusions.
Though I still was playing New Horizons since launch and not being bored of it like so many other people, I do agree with you that HHP does add way more gameplay. And it for sure is worth the price. (Less than the standalone version on the 3DS) I do like to decorate, so this dlc was made for me. My fave villager to decorate a vacay home for was Raymond. I finally got to make him a dream home. (Though his vacay home is a Tailor shop) It still fits him though.
I’m honestly so glad I got the DLC. It’s a little wild coming home from a day of working with clients…to relax by working with virtual clients…but honestly it’s so much fun and I can’t put it down! It’s hard to pick a favorite home I’ve designed, but I’m pretty proud of all the kitchen/restaurant ones I’ve done so far! I would die for Niko. And Wardell.
Designing Harry's Messy Manor had to be one of my favorites so far. Making a house look pretty is fun but designing pretty home after pretty home get get repetitive. Designing a home that was a disgusting mess was a lot of fun and I can't wait to go back and make it even worse lol Honorable mentions are the onsen B&B I designed for Limberg and Greta and my cafe in which I decided to recreate Central Perk from Friends as close as I could
I’ve compared this game to The Sims a lot! The Sims has nothing on the quality of game play, price, and the amount of bang for your buck! Maxis/EA could learn from ACNH/Nintendo on how to treat players. HHP has depth and quality that I can appreciate. My favorite thing about the HHP is the level of detail they put into giving this game longevity. It’s not something that I’ll get bored with quickly and I really love that! Great video 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
this really was the best $25 i spent this year!! totally agree about the appeal of villagers i wouldnt have otherwise given much thought to. my favorite house i designed was also for someone i never would've invited to my island: croque's ramen restaurant. the requests for houses that aren't really houses are always the most fun, i think!
Omg!! Peggy was one of my first move in villages with the starter plots and I couldn't stand her or her starter house but seeing her in a grocery store that makes so much sense to me and I miss her now! My favorite new thing tk dk in the game is just let's plots auto fill and then design their home and create my own stories for them. The one thing I wish we could do is expand villager homes on out islands. Regardless love the DLC so much and can't stop playing it literally everyday.
This is such a fun review! That kk dance party on the beach had me 👀😳🎉🎉💜🙌🏻😂 only a few houses in but it is the perfect addition to this game, and has me so excited to play everyday!!
I think my favorite home I’ve done is for Bella. I gave her a total punk feel. It’s sooo cool and makes me want her on my island lol! I’ve also done a home for Isabelle that I’m super proud of
Great video, the editing was perfect and it was extremely informative! 😊 I really enjoyed the DLC and there's been nice surprises one after the other, it keeps on giving! :)
Thank you for the review! I got bored with HHD but it looks like HHP really fixed a lot of the issues! (Although I still wish there was a ranking system). I'm still exploring the 2.0 update stuff but I think I'll buy HHP as a Christmas present to myself.
I loved this whole video thank you so much , I don't have the DLC yet because I want to wait until I'm travelling a a lot next month and now with this review I'm even more Excited to get it!
This review is perfect! I loved it and agree with what you said. I also play it way more than the base game now haha, I did 30 houses in 2 weeks…yeahhh (includes all facilities lol) but yes lots of replay ability :)
Ooh i didn’t know about finding clients in the restaurant will try that it’s a wonderful DLC defo finding myself falling in love with new villagers. My fave house to design was lily 🥰
Thanks so much for so much info. I haven't purchased it yet and will once I start playing the game again. I haven't played in at least six months but I did update it to 2.0.
I LOVE this DLC too!!! 100% worth the price, the gameplay was so amazing and I have been playing ACNH consistently since launch lol. I'm so happy with it!
I remember playing Happy Home Designer on my 3DS cause back then it didn't cross my mind that I would have enough funds to get a Switch. Now with a Switch and New Horizons and Pokemon Scarlet leading the library, I'm starting to get drawn in on the game expansion. Might have to wait till next check to grab it along with the DLC for Scarlet
I'm so late but wow! I purchased this, I'm excited to have a job now lol. I have SO much work to do in my own island but I think this will give me motivation & inspiration for my own island lol
to me kinda because it just gives you a lot more to do and more features and furniture. I kinda wish it was just part of the game instead of having to pay for it tho
I loved the beach party! I was so sad that it had to end, I actually spent the whole night there, and pretty much filled up my Switch's memory with videos. I loved so many of the homes themes, too! My favorite home to design was Roswell's, because I made it into a scene out of something like Men In Black or X-Files. I used the crop circles flooring, the western wall, and a wedding accent wall to look like the outside of a farmhouse. Then I used the UFO and some gyroids for aliens, with the "beam up" polish.
Lottie isn’t new I mean to this new game yes but she was there in new leaf though I’m not sure about the ones before new leaf .. they just reused Lottie and brought her back
hello, first of all great video. I would like to ask a question, will the inhabitants leave their homes after a while and will it be possible to furnish them again? Thank you
Not to be disrespectful, but this is my first video i have watched on your channel. Amd you sound like almost identical to Tape Girl from FNaF Help Wanted
Animal Crossing focus too much on building over story. Happy Home Designer wasn't successful and New Horizons is a 2.0 HHD and Harley's studio does the job. So, what's the point? It is getting more relevant than the 2.0 update. Sure, it adds depth to character and then what? The idea of redesigning villagers house interior is like Nintendo screwed it up. Take Curt for example: he used to have an oriental-theme room and now he lives in a dump. He is the perfect candidate to redesigned his room. Room used to add personality to characters.

designing Sprocket's robot factory and Harry's dirty slob house was really fun!
this really was the best $25 i spent this year!! totally agree about the appeal of villagers i wouldnt have otherwise given much thought to. my favorite house i designed was also for someone i never would've invited to my island: croque's ramen restaurant. the requests for houses that aren't really houses are always the most fun, i think!
I 100% percent agree Kay this DLC has really brought a new love for some villagers and do believe this was the best 25 dollars I have ever spent

How long did it take for you to be able to edit the homes of villagers on your own island?
This is such a fun review! That kk dance party on the beach had me 👀😳🎉🎉💜🙌🏻😂 only a few houses in but it is the perfect addition to this game, and has me so excited to play everyday!!
I like how you mentioned Dom's house because it was the first one I remodeled when I got the ability lol
I think my favorite home I’ve done is for Bella. I gave her a total punk feel. It’s sooo cool and makes me want her on my island lol! I’ve also done a home for Isabelle that I’m super proud of

Being able to give KidCat the house he deserves has made this dlc 100% worth it. No more trash house for you my son.

loved this vid esp the narration.. good job kay, keep em coming!
I loved this whole video thank you so much , I don't have the DLC yet because I want to wait until I'm travelling a a lot next month and now with this review I'm even more Excited to get it!
I've seen the work shirt in HHP from other videos, and the ironic thing is I know exactly what I'd wear with it!
Tbh, I got the DLC because it gave me a lot of stuff to do, much like a "story" mode. :)
Im excited to invite the villagers i want off my island to a vacation home instead!
This review is perfect! I loved it and agree with what you said. I also play it way more than the base game now haha, I did 30 houses in 2 weeks…yeahhh (includes all facilities lol) but yes lots of replay ability :)

Great review Kay!!! Nicely done!! And Peggy is super cute here!
Thanks so much for so much info. I haven't purchased it yet and will once I start playing the game again. I haven't played in at least six months but I did update it to 2.0.

Sprocket had me create a robot-manufacturing facility, which he referred multiple times to as his 'secret lair'.... It was.... Interesting
Purchasing rare items with poki through Wardell is worth it. End of story😎
I'm so late but wow! I purchased this, I'm excited to have a job now lol. I have SO much work to do in my own island but I think this will give me motivation & inspiration for my own island lol
I never knew I needed Peggy 😢
Nintendo outdid themselves with 2.0 and this DLC. So pleased. I’ve played everyday since I bought this and that’s unusual for me.
This video inspired me to get back into HHP! I'm gonna design so many things...
I have Happy Home Paradise, haven't played it yet though... Thanks for this video and the other ones you have done on HHP 😊
It’s 37 dollars in Australia 🥲
It's so worth it! 32 homes done already!
Wait... Tabby has a spooky hospital AND a restaurant?
That's a whole lotta yikes.
to me kinda because it just gives you a lot more to do and more features and furniture. I kinda wish it was just part of the game instead of having to pay for it tho

I’m glad I got the dlc, but you do know that isn’t kk slider right? That’s his son…DJ KK

I had to look it up because I haven’t played any FNAF games yet. 😂
@@KDaisy lol. What do you think?
Similar timbre, I can see it!
What does DLC stand for?
Downloadable Content
i wish i wasn’t broke rn, i reallyyyyyy want to buy it :(
Soooo worth it 🔥🔥
Do we lose dlc home paradise if we restart the game ?
Yes
You lose the progress, not the entire DLC. You wouldn't have to purchase it again, just to be clear!
Early squad, yay!
YES
Someone likes Tabby?
I LOVE Tabby ❤️ She was super sweet to me in 2002 when animal crossing first launched in the US. Been a fan of her ever since
@@KDaisy not judging lol I just can't get past that scary smile face.
