I just got done installing them same spark plugs in my Audi and the performance and torque was amazing about to install my performance ignition coils next I do everything myself I love being able to work and maintenance my car myself because a lot of mechanics don’t be knowing what they doing and don’t know a lot about these foreign cars
@@brucecustommotors Hey bro! All good, thank you! I love the APR upgrade. I’ve had it for a couple months or so but my shop initially didn’t add the 100 ECU tune. He said he wanted the turbo to seat first before adding it. So I drove it about 5,000 km (3,100 ish miles) and then brought it back. Now that everything is done I can’t stop smiling. Seriously, I’m gonna lose my license if I don’t behave on the roads. What a night and day difference. Off the line for sure I noticed it’s not as torquey as the Stage 2 I was on, but mid and top range is dirty! It just pulls. But besides the power, I added pretty much every 034 suspension-related part I could get my hands on. I even upgrade to Bilstein dampers with KW HAS kit. My shop had to do some fabrication on the front dampers to make it all fit together cause the KW HAS was designed for the stock dampers but I wanted the ability to make incremental changes when necessary. So far really pleased. I can only imagine if I had some of the add ons you have it would be even more crazy! To accommodate for the K04 power, I just upgraded my front brakes to the ECS front big brake kit Tru Float Wave style rotors. It has the Q5 4 piston Brembo’s and 345mm rotors. I also opted for Akebono brakes. It has a softer pedal feel than OEM but solid brakes nonetheless. Now I’m just waiting for ECS to have the matching rear brake kit back in stock but the ETA is not until October 5th. How you doin? Your ride is lookin’ sicker every minute! That steering wheel is straight fire! And the exhaust note at the end of your video is nasty. Did you install a mid pipe?

If you can't afford a re-map - which is easily the best way to improve performance - you can't afford to take a huge risk by changing things like the spark plug gap. A re-map will cost less than a good cat-back sport exhaust.
Bruce, did you mention in this video your Go-To spark plug gap and for your current set up is 0.035? I’m now on stage 3 k04 on 93oct (no water meth) I was on the recommended 0.028.. but just changed it to 0.032 the other day… and man I did notice difference across the rev-range! It’s more responsive and car feels a bit overall; stronger. So far I can confirm there’s no Blow out issue or misfire codes.
yes i was under the impression, that with more power , that you will blow out your spark, when i went apr k04, they even recommended, 0.024, im currently at 0.033 which was my sweet spot, with the r8 coils.

2014 allroad: I tested the sprint booster (actually a knock off brand from eBay), upgraded air filter, gapped plugs (0.32), and upgraded coil packs. Stock exhaust though.. I've also done all these things (except the Sprint Booster..) to my older Audis. (90 coupe s2 clone/aan, multiple 200 20v/3b and 10v/mc and an 84 4k quattro/jt). Proven to make more power and better run times. Good honest video as always Bruce!

Hey Bruce My b8.5 a4 stalls really slowly to 3k during a break launch and most times it doesn't even reach the 3k rpm mark as the car stops after holding the brake and gas for about 5 seconds do you know how to fix this or eliminate the timer for when the power cuts out while the torque converter is loading up rpms during a launch
the dealer put a timer on it , after 5 seconds it dis engages, for safety, you have to launch it in about 3 seconds to get your full launch, only a 2 step can hold the rpm, you should be fine if you do it in 3 seconds, don't worry, its a normal mechanism

Need help on what to do my car needed a turbo change took it to this place that works on Audi the replaced it it was making funny noise they said it was normal then after that I started to have misfire and the car would shake on cold start. So they told me it was the pvc I went to Audi got the pvc they fixed 400$ it he called and said my car was running rough n misfire they plugged it into the computer it shows that one of my fuel injection was bad n stay open I told cool change all 4 900$ today he calls me talking about my car still running rough he replaced spak plugs n coilovers still running rough they check the pressure one of them was only pushing 15 my valve might be bent they gonna ask around and let me what to do next 🤦♂️at this I’m thinking like they playing guessing games with my car should I even pay for the fuel injection work ?
i would wait, because if its a bent valve, they have to remove the intake manifold anyway, so you should not have to pay for labor twice, sometimes even a bad intake could cause this, don't give any information to them, let them find out the problem, and express your concern of uncertainty to the general manager, they should be able to access your car, one pop, not little at a time, some of the labor you may pay, could be double , because when you remove the head of the engine, the parts come off anyway, it like them say ing your valve gasket needs to be replaced you pay, and then they say its your timing chain, then they charge you and take it off again. let the manager know, so they will focus on your car more detailed, in my prayers bro, let me know

If you're boosted, don't get a cold air... I mean hot air intake. Important to keep your intake air temps down.

There no fault code other then misfire codes
