There is a child inside every man. I am in my 60s but I still make my wife laugh by my childish/daft behaviour or something I have said. My wife is worth more than a Kings fortune, and I am grateful for having her in my life..

It makes me sad to see tour drummer Bill Rieflin here cos he died in 2020. Before R.E.M., he was in the legendary Industrial Metal band called Ministry. It looks like he put his heart and soul into this performance. R.I.P.
Stipey started singing the 1st 2 choruses in a lower key because he had a bit a difficulty doing it like the studio version live because he moved around so much and to conserve his voice. I'm so glad he did the last 2 choruses correctly
Excellent music, audience behaving civilly, band members dressed normally, without ridiculous choreography, simply playing the music... rare things to see at shows these days.
Can you old boring nerds not just appreciate something for what it is without slinging ignorant shade at how things are and what people enjoy now. Peoples joy now is as valid as peoples joy before and this is a different enjoyment than quote "ridiculous choreography" which I'm sorry your scared of dancing and fun you must be a very bored person. I like the music, and am a young person, loved them since I was a kid but God I'd rather hear you talk about the quality of Micheals vocals or the clarity of the instruments or something positive.
So I'd walk out to the cane fields across from my Uncle's farm, where the blacks had that ole mule circling around, dripping the cane juice down....... right into my glass, which didn't belong out there. It was so fresh, so cool while being day temperature, it rewarded our hopes. And my cousin Debbie was there, somehow, gracing me with her song. God Bless you and keep you, Deborah!
Almost 20 years eh? I remember I was quite jealous about the folk watching this in venue while I was watching it live on TV. Now I am just content, even glad I was able to watch it live on TV!
I have been waiting a while for a live performance when he drags out that last ‘sending ouuutttttttt… an SOS’. Incredible performer just brilliant stuff Sting 👌🏾
Never understood what Stipe was going for during this period with the face paint or dyed eyebrows … thought he just looked silly and it took away from some great music.🤔
Quote: Michael Stipe uses his eccentric stage make-up as a mask because he's terrified of revealing his true personality. The REM frontman, famed for his colourful face paints, admits it covers a "basic insecurity" and hates being photographed without it. He reveals, "I still carry the same insecurities and inadequacies that everyone carries and there is a vulnerability that prevents me becoming some disgusting global pop star".
My favourite REM song and my favourite live performance of it. Michael Stipe dancing on stage? YES.
He can sure move those legs, eh???
Same!!!!
Descobri está banda agora, ainda não tinha visto uma banda tão maravilhosa como esta, este vocalista é um show Men a parte.
Caraca mano.
Escuto eles desde meus 13 anos
One of the best bands ever 🔥
I lost a true friend today. And I'm crying.
sorry for your loss
He commit suicide because he knows you, i guess.
O tempo passa e o REM não perde seu valor em unir belas canções e temas fundamentais de nossas vidas.

Tme flies when you're living memories, huh?
I love R.E.M. ❤
Not a cellphone in sight. Just shiny, happy people living in the moment.
This is an abseloutly outstanding performance, I am so sad that I never will get the oppotunity to watch this band live, I was 7 when this was filmed
I agree. Donatello is a great singer 😅
Uma das melhores Bandas da História.

Michael blue himself though
The Holy Spirit is powerful when giving signs, even if the world belongs to the D*v*l (1 John 5:19 - and of course the above song).
Jesus. You people are unbearable
@@aldeayeahThere's got to be a better way to say that Tobias 😂

I have been waiting a while for a live performance when he drags out that last ‘sending ouuutttttttt… an SOS’. Incredible performer just brilliant stuff Sting 👌🏾

Michael Stipe już wtedy pokazał ,że ludzie nic nie widzą mimo otwartych oczu.
REM always in my❤
we should have REM back
Yes. Yes we should
No, they did the right thing. Music should be special, no greed.
They were brilliant but I think sometimes it’s better to bow out at the top rather than fade away
That would be great
And Dire Straits to
@@slagcityMaybe they could try making something together and see if something special comes out of this.

Not a fan of Stipe's politics and antics, but can't deny good music when heard
He has to sing it lower. Bummer.
Stipe is a b end but he's got a good voice

How paint mask can take the quality of music if it still stays great?..
REM is more than a "rock band" that`s all i can say.
@@JesusAlleineRettetThere's so many videos of him performing without it.
Pendant with the shirt.

Make up artist over did his eye shadow.
His voice sounds so bad here. 😢
Just a top band
