    This proves that "speed does NOT bring musicality". An unusually slow execution that's much more arresting than the various rush jobs one finds on the net.

      Thank you for your kind comment. These video are out there to help and hopefully inspire players to explore the musicality of the tunes. I agree, sometimes playing tunes slower and more musically can really reveal the feeling of the tune in a new way.

      This recordingl is played at 90bpm.

      Good question. This is using a metronome that can play the Dot Cut rhythm. It is a setting available on most metronomes. The concept is simple. 6/8 has 6 beats in a bar, but you really only care about the 1(dotted) and the 3(Cut) of each group, so instead of 1_2_3, 1_2_3 which would be an even break down you want 1__3 1__3 this gives a good approximation of the natural swing of a 6/8. Hope that helps.
