There is nothing that comes close to a Scottish Marching band...except the Royal Marines. Both traditions are the best of the best...both make me so proud and both stir in me different emotions. I love the science and precision of the Royal Marines and I love the heart and spectacle of the Scots. All I can say is, fighting together we are goddam awesome, fighting apart we have lost something very special. I'm not a monarchist but I love the UK....
As a Scotsman, we don't appreciate the allegiance we have when it comes to war, but it's written all over history how much we all rely on each other. We'll be tested again but we know who we are.
