You convinced me. I’m now making a table runner out of this with the orange, green, and red colors. I’m loving the look and it works up super easy. Thanks for a great review.
Hey Crystal I just went to Joannes and I found the big twist for $1.50 and also the comfy cotton was 399+ I had a 50% discount off of that plus the 20% so I scored I scored and thank you to you you have taught me a lot a lot about yarns so thank you thank you very very much for all your help your tutorial your family is wonderful you are brilliant thank you God bless you all bye
@@PamperedChefConsultant It was just for Memorial Day, we could use the 20% off today and tomorrow for sale and regular priced items. I used the same coupon she used.
I love the yarn reviews and hope you continue them. I feel I get a true feeling. But anyway, I pay close attention because I rate my buying from yours and others reviews saves me time and money. Thank you so much!
I totally love your honesty in your reviews. The colors are very pretty. I'm really happy you did an additional review after the unboxing. You're good people, keep up there great job.
I really like the way that works up. It would make a nice summer weight baby blanket. Thank you for the review. It helps me to see them worked up. Plus, I value your opinion. 😊
Beautiful little swatch. I also love Comfy Cotton. When I first found it, I fell in love with it. I bought one of every colorway that Walmart had at the time. Of course I had to see if there were more colorways so I went online and bought all the colorways that Walmart didn't have. Now every time I find out there is a new colorway of Comfy Cotton, I have to have them all!!!! Love your reviews, unboxing and your valuable opinions. $5.99 sounds about like the price I've paid for mine at regular price. I think it's a deal!!!! Thank you so much!!!
Usually when I'm buying a new yarn I'll buy at least 2 skeins possibly 3 depending on the yardage. Just so i have enough to make a smaller shawl cause for some reason shawls are my go to thing to make with new yarns LOL
A couple of months ago I bought 2 cakes of Lion Brand Comfy Cotton Blend in Chai Latte. I was also excited to get it until I pulled it from the box. I put it in my drawer because I thought it would split and reek havoc trying to use it. I had just pulled it out and decided to use it on my 2nd shawl pattern of your with the crossed treble crochets. Then I started to watch this video and laughed seeing as this must be a meeting of the minds. lol I have made several of your tutorials and I enjoyed trying them. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Crystal. I've been looking at this yarn but not really sure how it would work. You're my go to person on for yarn info. I'm going to purchase it now. Thank you
Earlier today, I ordered six skeins of Comfy Cotton (for special projects), from Joann’s, but didn’t see the Fetti. I don’t buy from Joann’s very often, but I could not resist the $3 shipping coupon, plus the sale prices. My yarn stash is loaded with 2 and 3 weight yarn, and I have a myriad of G & H hooks to work with them. I love the detail work. Now I just have to get my hands on the Fetti! Thanks for the great review. I count on them!
Hi Crystal that’s your honest opinion and I like that . It’s a beautiful yarn 🧶 I have to buy some to make a baby’s dress and a few shawls . Thanks for the review ❤️
I'm currently using Comfy Cotton for a project. It's very soft but it has been splitting the whole time. I'll wait until I'm done with my project to see if I'll use it again.
That yarn works up really pretty. I’ve tried regular comfy cotton blend. Actually made a blanket for use during spring and summer weather. I love it. Can’t wait to try that one as well. Thank you for review.
Looks very pretty. In my head I was saying a 8 (boy I’m good at guessing your review numbers) such pretty colors love the rainbow . Can’t wait to see what you make with it.
I’m not crazy about the orange color but the blue one is kinda cute but for sure I don’t like 3 weight yarns so I don’t think I’ll be buying any of this yarn.. ty for your review..they are soooo helpful in deciding which yarns I’ll be buying.. I really appreciate your reviews crystal...ty...
I was never going to buy this because of how loosely it is spun. Even though I LOVE Lion Brand, it looked like a total nightmare to crochet with! Your tutorial has made me reconsider my mind and I may actually give it a try now😀 Thanks for the advice!
Thank you crystal for this yarn review. I do love comfy cotton and i am making a dress with it I will try this yarn and see how it goes. . Your opinions mean a lot to me. You are the yarn Queen and my idol😊👍
Its a Joann's exclusive, if it does well at Joann's they will release it for purchase elsewhere, yarn companies like to do this to get a feel for what will sell and what wont
Hi Crystal. Very pretty yarn. I love Comfy Cotton too. I'm willing to try... Thanks for the review. But it would be nice if things were made in the USA. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
What fun looking yarn! All the colors are very pretty. I like that it's cotton/acrylic, instead of poly & #3 weight is nice for summer. Amazing it didn't split on you! Thank you for the review.
Crystal, I love the way you teach us your Tutorials because you take your time and I work with you and it gives me needed confidence in doing my craft. Please continue in your teaching in types of yarn. I love this! I pray one day I will be able to find out about your free give aways because I am Disabled and it is hard for me to stand, when there is no wheelchair to sit on so I can shop for sales. Thank you for your goodness. I feel your heart in your speech! Rose Tracy
I haven’t tried it but it really does look so pretty. Being in Australia I’ll have to see where I can purchase it from. Thank you for your honesty when you do your unboxing and reviews. I look forward to watching them
It is pretty. I wouldn't use it on baby stuff though. Since it is so splitty, it could get snagged. I am using the comfy cotton blend for a few of your Lil Sassy Sailor dresses and noticed it snags easily. I was looking for a rustic style of yarn for an antique look to the dresses for my muslin prairie dolls. As long as it just sits and looks pretty, it will be fine! I used another 4 ply unspun cotton yarn, different brand, and it did it, too. Just hope it doesn't get snagged on something. The thin individual strands is what i am talking about.
I think you should still make a baby blanket with it. There’s a lot of times you need a little something to just throw over you or a baby that isn’t to hot and heavy. I think it would be a gorgeous light weight blanket. I saw this on joannes website but wasn’t sure about it. Thank you so much for the review, now I’m sure I like it 😊
TFS... it's very pretty, the colors are great and glad it worked up btr than you expected but it wouldn't be my first go to. If you do a shawl with it can you do an asymmetrical one?
I think that one color you really like would make a beautiful baby blanket and it would be great for summer 😎 I would like to see you make one with that. I really appreciate your reviews and how thorough you are. 😊I see myself buying some of this to make a top or maybe a baby blanket.
Crystal, I love your channel, tutorials, and yarn reviews. What type of yarn, color, and pattern would you recommend for a lacy summer weather shawl to go with a dusty rose colored evening gown? I have to crown the new winner of Ms. Senior at our local fair this year ( I won in 2019 and pending that it will still be held) Thank you in advance for your help.
I'm cautious about variegated yarn. What I realized was that I like it when it is like that comfy cotton, with one of the colors continuously running through the entire skein/ cake. If it doesn't, I put a second, solid color with it and I'm fine.
There's something about these colors I cannot get over, beautiful.
You convinced me. I’m now making a table runner out of this with the orange, green, and red colors. I’m loving the look and it works up super easy. Thanks for a great review.
It looks very pretty, thank you Crystal for this review🌹The green looks beautiful.
Wow this cotton would make such lovely spring shawls and tops!
You’re so lucky! My Joann’s doesn’t carry Comfy Cotton and they don’t let you use coupons on sale items.

Thanks for another very thorough review! I am really drawn to the green color! Thanks Crystal!
Thank you Crystal for your review, the colors are pretty, and thank you for showing us how it works up. 💝
Looks like it would make an awesome shawl or tank top for summer! Gorgeous!
I really like the way that works up. It would make a nice summer weight baby blanket. Thank you for the review. It helps me to see them worked up. Plus, I value your opinion. 😊
Ooooo! I like that Orange Blossom. Thank you for your review. It means so much.
I love new colors of new yarn. I think for a nice thickness for baby blanket I will use 2 strands together.

The bobbles look like flowers. I like it

Also in case one has to use 2 strands.

Thanks for the review and showing how it works up! Looks great! Not a bad price! That green is pretty! It would match my eyes!
I love that yarn 🧶. I love the darker streaks in it 😊
Thanks for the review, nice yarn and colors are pretty. Can't wait to see what you make out of it.
Thanks Again!!

I love this yarn. It's beautiful, easy to work with and washes & dries in the dryer well. 💜
I like all the colors. I will have to buy some of that. Thanks for your review!
I like the look of how it worked up in the bobbles. Like Jeri Roton mentioned, they look like little fat tulips. Very pretty.
Gorgeous, amazing colors!
I love the colors and your review. I will have to try this. Thank you for your review.
Thanks Crystal for your input. Good to know. Thanks
Wonderful review this helps so much! I love comfy cotton also and the thinness of the yarn is great for tops

Didn’t like it in the cake but you’re right, like the way it worked up. Thanks for the review.
This looks gorgeous and is def. Going in my cart. Im thinking beach wrap and matching beach bag
Thank you for the review. I don't like when you can only get on line. A lot of times I go and browse the stores.
Love the Funfetti and would love to see a baby blanket out of it.
Thank you for this review. It looks pretty. I'm not one for buying a colour blend like that but it looks pretty worked up
Love those colors
I love working with cotton!
I have been looking for some 2-3 weight pretty cottons so thank you missed the unboxing so will need to go find it
Pretty! Love that color also!
Perfectly timed!! I just started using cotton
I'm cautious about variegated yarn. What I realized was that I like it when it is like that comfy cotton, with one of the colors continuously running through the entire skein/ cake. If it doesn't, I put a second, solid color with it and I'm fine.
Stunning colour
That is some really pretty yarn. I haven't ordered Lion Brand, but I will have to try it.
I love the green.
Hi Crystal l also love comfy cotton yarns and I just can tot Waite to get some of these. Love the colors that I saw.
I might try this. It looks interesting.
It looks very pretty. How does it compare with flikka yarn. I bought that from lion brand on a flash sale and made some tops with 5.5(I) hook.
