      New tool trailer has both a microwave and mini fridge. Cold drinks can be had with a small cooler but new trailer has a coffee maker so need a spot for creamer so…why not.

      @RenovationsandRepair with the roads here in Nebraska I see a coffee maker not surviving more than a couple days often I have a drawer or 2 on the floor and I have a 2 inch drop so they should stay in when I get my new trailer I'll probably do everything level with magnetic child locks or a velcro strap on each door

      I own a ford transit connect, the small van. I sometimes pull a 5x8 enclosed trailer with a 6ft interior. I only pull the trailer when im wiring a house or a meter socket and breaker panel change out. The trailer is like an small inventory store with common parts I use. The time i dont use the trailer is when im out doing service calls. My gasoline bill is only $28 a week since its a 4 cylinder motor. The van has plenty of power. Im going to start making custom shevling for my trailer here son.

    What truck are you hauling with? Going to buy a trailer this spring and deciding for a 12 or 14 ft. Tow rig is a 2020 gmc AT4 1500 diesel so should be good for weight.

      989 area huh. Well I would definitely have a truck because of the 4x4 areas you will need to go in. Which means transporting tools will be a pain if you dont have a covered bed. Maybe invest in a enclosed trailer.
      Focus on what you do best and use social media to get your name out there. Tell all your friends and family. Ask for referrals from them all. Document all your work and post it to your socials. Get a website. I used GoDaddy. Pretty cheap and you can build it yourself. Funnel all your work through your website once it's up and running.

    Nice trailer. Do you have a video just on your electrical trailer setup? Thanks

  • @private4929
    @private4929 4 роки тому +3

    Impressive layout. Although I only have one concern. Instead of one trailer that does it all, you should have a storage that carries everything. Invest in multiple smaller enclosed trailers. Have several crews come to the storage and sign what is needed for the day's project requirements. Instead of having the capability of only doing one or two jobs at one time. I started like you 18 years ago. It took me 3 years to understand the logistics of scaling. Now I vacation over 4 months out of the year, and still bring home over 1.3M a year.
    Some people work "in" their business.
    I chose to work "on" my business.
    From a bird eyes view and manage the logistics by empowering the right people to run your company. Expect only 90% done correctly, and that no one will work as hard as you. Learn that, and you too will be able to join me at one of my beach houses. Great work! Keep it up!

    Love the set up bro, but i have to ask you; when everyone is specialising what made you want to get into so many disciplines? Do you ever get flack from the "specialists" in your area? Finally doesn't it get hectic with the truck stock and the different clients calling you for different things? I mean i get it, because if you spend any time on a jobsite and are willing to learn, over the years you will learn almost every trade because i have done that, and while i can hang drywall, plaster & paint, fabricate forms,tie steel, etc. for business i do Hvac/r and Electrical...minor plumbing like water heaters and simple repair because find it too much to deal with being pulled in ten different directions...i am curious as to what is your take.

    Excellent trailer build! Anyone can tell you have put a lot of hard work and money into making that trailer a fine shop to work from.
    I have said this before to other trailer owners, remember that loaded trailer is like crack cocaine to thieves.
    They notice you on the job site, the supply house, when they walk on the sidewalk past you and even when it is parked at your house.
    They will even try to steal it out of your own driveway while you sleep.
    Unless you have a special rider on your insurance with each expensive tool listed out your insurance will not cover the loss.
    I would put a 12 volt battery hidden inside and install a car alarm with a loud siren.
    Some of them have motion detectors and they all have door switches.
    Very few thieves are going to steal a trailer with a siren screaming at them.
    I have two friends that lost everything they owned in trailers thefts.
    Just be careful and do everything you can think of to stop criminals and enjoy your trailer.

    • @RenovationsandRepair
      @RenovationsandRepair  4 роки тому
