When I was a kid (1947) I took a train from that station to Pennsylvania. It was impressive then and it's still impressive.

I have went to this Union Station in San Diego back in 2016. This station was built in 1915 for the Santa Fe Railroad.

Built in 1915 by the Santa Fe railroad to go along with the California Panama Exhibition, it replaced an older Victorian station.
