The fact Nintendo basically put Goatse into their game is hilarious. I mean it's not really even only a little bit, it has two arms coming around the front with what could be interpreted as hands pretty easily. Then the door way doesn't just appear or open from the bottom, no, it has a central crack that appears and gets pulled open until it's gaping.
5:14 “The goddess has abandoned me. Now there is no hope…” And so, Link cast himself from the highest sky island in all of Hyrule. After 100 years of suffering, 100 years of endless battle, this would be his escape from the madness. But Link’s fate was not as it seemed. Hylia had other plans…

botw's world was very tightly designed around exploring it and climbing around at ground level. totk consists entirely of flyhacking over the map at max speed so you can get to the real gameplay: gathering thousands of collectibles from identical caves, copy/pasted sky islands, and a gray copy of the overworld.
@@Tuxfanturnip I mean if you just choose not to "skyhack" and instead experiment with what you create based on fun rather than robotic efficiency it makes the game a lot more enjoyable. I purposefully avoid using the infamous fan bike and try to build based on what resources I have rather than hoarding stuff so I can build an entire mechazord on the fly and it's made my experience much better, personally.
@@mamie8734 I didn't even like botw that much, but totk manages to strip away the exploration aspects that were actually enjoyable and unique and replace them with rocket shields, clearing dozens of identical mining camps for enough zonaite to build interesting vehicles, and driving through pitch darkness toward a distant yellow light for the 50th time to reveal shrine locations without even looking for them.

@@mgb360 I love botw, even the "bad things" people complain about and I really could bring myself to like this game, even though I really really wanted to. Whatever magic botw had is not present in this one. I even went back to BOTW because I thought my brain changed or something, but I ended up doing a full playthrough and enjoying it very much
@@JohnDeerest the thing that killed it for me was the building system. "fly over it" was the solution to an ungodly number of problems. Most tragically, it completely killed what BotW did best, which was the climbing and exploration. Zipping over a mountain doesn't have anywhere near the same magic as gradually finding rest points and working your way to the top to see what you can see. @ unless I didn’t use “flyhacks”, in which case it was just BotW but I had more fun.
@ ah yes.. as opposed to the handful of repetitive solutions to shrines and collectibles in BotW, a massive yet desolate map that feels lifeless
